Twelfth Night Cast

Mason is a SILSA Junior involved in the ahs theatre department and has been in several plays including (Our Town, Christmas Carol, and a collection of children's plays). Mason also paints and spends his time doing activism work in his community. He loves bringing smiles to his friends and can always have a good laugh.

Amaya is a Senior who has been involved in several productions at AHS and an active member of ITS

SILSA Senior Frances Barnett has participated in a myriad of Asheville High School’s Theatre productions, including, but not limited to Charles Dickens’ Christmas CarolandArthur Miller’sCrucible. Frances Barnett enjoys sewing, painting, and learning obscure facts on the French Revolution. She would like to thank her family, her undying obsession with William Shakespeare, and Asheville High’s Thespian Troupe #2237.

Remi Biggers-Knight AHS Junior Remi has previously been is a few theatre programs such as Guys and Dolls, The Glass Menagerie, and The Crucible. She loves to spend her free time drinking oat milk lattes and hanging out with her friends.

The 2021 Production of Twelfth Night will be Andrew Cook’s 11th production with the AHS Theatre program. His favorite roles were: Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls(2020) Bob Cratchit in Christmas Carol(2018&2020) and his first role, Georgie in Leave the Gun, Take the Casserole (Quixotica 2018). Andrew is a member of the ITS program at AHS, inducted his sophomore year, and will continue to pursue and study theatre and music as performing arts after graduation.

Sofia Costanzo is a sophomore at Asheville High School and this is her second production with AHS theatre, after Christmas Carol in the fall. She has been involved in performing arts for eleven years is currently studying acting with the barrow group and is a member of the AHS dance team. Some of her favorite performances include Molly in Annie (ACT), Juliet in I Hate Shakespeare (ACT), and Singing in Carnegie Hall in the national youth choir. Sofia is also in speech and debate club, loves to sew and upcycle clothes, and play the piano and guitar. She would like to thank her family for their unconditional guidance and support.

Tobin Fields Junior AHS. Tobin is only a few years into her theatrical experience, but so far she’s enjoyed acting in Alice and Wonderland, and Guys and Dolls.

NEIL KUROWSKI Neil Kurowski is a sophomore at AHS. This will be his first time acting in a production. Neil enjoys climbing and mountain biking. Thanks to Salsa the dog.

Jordan Levi Senior SILSA This will be Jordan’s fourth production with Asheville High Theatre (Ensemble, OnceUpon a Mattress, Mission Doll,Guys and Dolls,Stage Manager,Quixotica 2019). She is an avid Crossfitter and Olympic Weightlifter, and has been a Colorguard member of the AHS Marching Band throughout high school, including captain her junior and senior years. Carina Mignon Senior at SILSA Carina has been involved with the AHS Theatre Department since her freshman year. She is the president of their chapter of the International Thespian Society and has been in and worked tech for many productions. Some of her favorites include playing the Nightengale of Samarkand in Once Upon a Mattress, Rusty Charlie inGuys andDolls, and playwrighting and directing How Do Pineapples Even Grow?for the department’s Quixotica program. She’s excited to bring some clarity and fun to the timeless words of Shakespeare and hopes you enjoy Twelfth Night

Elijah Wolf O ́Connell Elijah is a senior at Asheville High School. This will be his second role in an Asheville High School production (Lieutenant Brannigan,Guys and Dolls). He has worked on one short film and loves to make people laugh. Thank you to his Grandfather and Mother.

Annabel Pulman AHS Senior Annabel is excited to be playing Olivia in Twelfth Night! She is an active member and Secretary of the AHS ITS troupe 2237. Some of her favorite roles include, Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins, Bebe Benzenheimer in A Chorus Line, and Deborah Sue in Bye Bye Birdie. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Kamiron Salters Senior at AHS Kamiron has been in Charles Dickens Christmas Carol twice, and Quixotica twice. He has also been in Our Town portraying his favorite role, baseball boy. Kamiron played Judge Hawthorne in the AHS production of The Crucible, and Big Jule in Guys and Dolls. Kamiron also is in Track and Field where he is a Shotput and Discus thrower. He would like to thank his mom and everyone for the support.

Twelfth Night is just one show in Astrid Reed-Kennedy’s illustrious acting career with Asheville High School’s Theatre. You may recognize her from such notable roles as Peter Cratchit, Stage Manager, and Props Master. Astrid is skilled in many fields, including, but not limited to, drawing, painting, sewing, organization, and social activism. Astrid would like to thank the opossums of North America and International Thespian Society troupe #2237.

Jackson Sayers AHS Senior Jackson Sayers favorite roles include The Crucible in Giles Corey. Jackson likes to run track and enjoys making friends and traveling. His most recent play Twelfth Night as a First Officer. Thanks to his Mom, Aunt, and Uncle for all the support.

Ella Maye Valentine is a Senior AHS with experience in many shows, those being, Our Town, (2018), Children’s Plays (2019), Quixotica (2019), Crucible (2019), Quixotica (2020), and her upcoming role as Malviolia in Twelfth Night (2021). She has been doing theatre for three (3) years and is in Asheville High’s local troupe, #2237.

Xander White Junior AHS Xander is making his first appearance as an actor in Twelfth Night; his only other role was behind the scenes in The Crucible. Xander is also a trombone player in the Asheville High Marching Band, and plays both football and track and field. He is thankful he got to work with a great cast on a great show.
