About Home for the Holidays: An AIHS Drama Club Radio Show

AIHS Pirates "R" Radio presents Home for the Holidays: An AIHS Drama Club Radio Show  is an original show containing short radio plays and skits written by Alameda International High School Drama Club students and inspired by the heartwarming Holiday films that many people see as the "balm for the soul" around this time of year. The show presents two original radio plays "Together Again" and "Secrets in a Gift" that focus on a theme of the binding power of the holiday spirit.

Please, join us from afar in these difficult times and renew yourself with the spirit of the holidays from home.

Alameda International High School

Alameda International High School Drama Club is the student-driven production organization for Alameda International Jr/Sr High School.

In our first season, we dealt with themes of duplicity and deception with The Importance of Being Earnest and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying! Our second season brought two fantasy shows with strong themes of acceptance and bonding with She Kills Monsters and Shrek: The Musical. Last season, we brought you two comedic shows about madness and family.

As an education organization, we strive to bring an entertaining variety of shows that allows students to experience a variety of shows covering a range of interesting and engaging topics from modern and contemporary shows like She Kills Monsters!, Shrek: The Musical, and Young Frankenstein to classics such as The Importance of Being Earnest and Arsenic and Old Lace.

This year, although we are experiencing a drastic change to our circumstances and unable to present theater in the traditional live format, we are exploring different avenues for presenting theater, whether that's in the building or at home. The AIHS Drama Club remains dedicated to keeping the show going and exploring the theatrical arts.
