The mission of the ALA Ironwood Theatre Department is to provide students with opportunities to develop their acting, singing, dancing, musical and technical theater skills, through rigorous course work, live performance and high quality stage productions. We also aim to collaborate across the curriculum with other fine arts, electives, and core subjects to create challenging, exciting, and rich educational theatre experiences.

Students in the theatre program learn about careers in theatre from performance in stage and film to tech and production crew. Tryouts are held regularly for our productions and state ranked festivals. The theatre department is headed by Mrs. Theresa Howe.
