Production Director
Bridget Rooney
Bridget is in her 2nd year as director of the SVDC with last year’s production of Hello, Dolly! being her directing debut. She was also a Stage Manager with the SVDC for The Producers, West Side Story, Sweeney Todd and The Phantom of the Opera. Additional recent credits include King Lear, Macbeth (Schuylkill Free Shakespeare) and Spring Awakening (Majestic Theater). Her upcoming credits include Fun Home (Majestic Theater), Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, and Hamlet (Schuylkill Free Shakespeare). She would like to thank Tori, Sarah, Wendy, Lindsey, Marissa, the Drama Mamas, Mike Correll and Nanny for all they do and her family for their support. She would also like to thank the cast and crew for making the SVDC this show and the program the beautiful thing that it is, Dane, Colin and the 2009 & 2003 SVDC Casts for inspiring her love for ITW and Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine for gifting this show to the world.
Music Director
Wendy Nicodemus
Wendy is a 2005 graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Technology with a BA in Graphic Design. Into the Woods marks her 7th year musically directing and advising the students of SVDC. Her past credits include Spamalot (2013), The Producers (2014), West Side Story (2015), Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2016), Phantom of the Opera (2017), and Hello! Dolly (2018). She would like to thank the students of SVDC for all their dedication! Pam Bubnis and the Drama Mamas! Mike Corell for his amazing work on the set! Nothing would be possible without the brains of our creative team - Bridget, Lindsey, Tori, Marissa, and Sarah -thank you for your dedication to this club and for all that you do. She would also like to thank her husband Russ, her mother, family, and friends for their love and encouragement. “Sometimes people leave you halfway through the woods…you are not alone!” I feel you with me every day Dad! This one is for you! –all my love!
Assistant Director
Tori Correll
This is Tori's first year with SVDC and Assistant Director. While she has acted in many shows, her directing credentials started with "Aesop's Fables" 2017. She would like to send the most sincere thank you to the rest of the creative team, the parents and of course, the students. There would be no need for us if there was no YOU. She'd like to thank her father, Mike Correll who took his free time to work with SVDC and build the set with his craft, creativity and kindness. She'd also like to thank her mother Wendy Correll for being our cheerleader and telling us how great everything looked. "You are not alone, truly no one is alone." And to my dear friend and mentor (who's now in the great beyond), Amy Wolff: "We die, but we don't".
Choreography
Marissa Yorke
This is Marissa's 5th show with SVDC, previous shows with the club include “Sweeney Todd" “Peter and the Starcatcher” “The Phantom of the Opera” and “Hello Dolly!” Marissa has previously choreographed at Southern Columbia (08) and Nativity (08-12) Her choreography has been nominated at the Majetic Awards since 2008 accruing 10 nominations and 5 wins. Other choreography credits include The Majestic Theatre, Schuylkill Free Shakespeare and Crimson Academy for the Performing Arts. She is a 2008 graduate of Bloomsburg University with a BSW and currently a Nursing Student at Cedar Crest College in the RN, BSN program. She would like to thank her family, fiancé Ken and son Jude for their love and support and the SVDC cast, crew and creative team for all of their hard work!
Lighting Design
Lindsey Zackaravage
Lindsey is a graduate of SV/SVDC Alumni and graduated from Lock Haven University in 2013. This is her 14th show with SVDC, 7th as an advisor. Lindsey has been nominated for Outstanding Lighting in "The Producers", "West Side Story", "Phantom of the Opera" and won the award for "Sweeney Todd". Other SVDC credit: "Peter and the Starcatcher". Other lighting credits: "Seussical", "Cinderella Kids", "Annie", "Spring Awakening", Schuylkill Free Shakespeare. She’d like to thank the best kids you can ask for, Wendy, Bridget, Tori, Marissa, Sarah and the Drama Mamas. She'd like to thank her Mom and Billy for their love and support, her corgi Chicory Stout as well as her Dad, Pop & Nana for always watching over her. Lindsey would like to thank the 2003 production of "Into the Woods", her 2009 ITW cast/crew- this show is so significant to the foundation of this club and what it has meant for so many who have come through. I am honored to be part of 2/3. "No one is alone."
Fight Choreography/ Acting Coach
Sarah Elizabeth Yorke
Sarah Elizabeth Yorke is a director, actor and acting coach who is graduate of Virginia Tech with her BA in Theatre Arts and will be attending Ohio University this fall in pursuit of her MFA in Directing. Sarah is the former director of The Shenandoah Valley Drama Club (2015-2017) for which she is credited with the direction of “The Phantom of the Opera”, “Peter and the Starcatcher”, “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street”, and Assistant Directing “West Side Story.” Additionally she has volunteered the past two years as an acting coach, costume designer and fight choreographer for “Hello, Dolly!” and “Into the Woods.” Her upcoming directing credits include “The Little Mermaid”, “Fun Home” and “Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead.” Sarah is thrilled to be a part of yet another SVDC production, and as always, is grateful for the incredible folks who make up this one of a kind family. “I am here in this room with all of you.”
