Benjamin Layman
Ben Layman (Director) Ben is a resident of Bangor and an employee of the Penobscot Theatre Company, where he currently serves as the Director of Education. At PTC ben has directed dozens of youth plays and been featured in over 30 mainstage productions. He has been involved with community theatre in the area for the last two decades as a director and actor. Ben is thrilled to be working with the WinterSea Theatre Experiment for the first time. Many thanks to Lisa for asking him to play.

Phil Kell
Phil lives in Northeast Harbor where he teaches guitar and bass lessons. He holds a bachelor’s degree in music performance from the University of Maine. Phil has played in the Bangor Symphony Orchestra and in pit orchestras for the Barn Arts Collective, the Acadia Community Theater, The Grand, the Waterville Summer Music Theater, the Penobscot Theater and the New Surry Theater. He has also played in more country, rock, blues, and jazz groups than he can remember.

Axis Fuksman-Kumpa
Axis did her very first play with Lisa many years ago and has been around the stage ever since. She spends most of her theater time on stage or doing hair and makeup, and her time away from the theater podcasting, crafting, and taking care of her many, many plants. She's grateful to regroup with this fantastic crew of old theater friends for this wonderful new project!

Shiwa Noh
Shiwa is a mother, dancer, choreographer, and teacher. She believes that we are all a part of the sacred circle of life. She started dancing at very young age with Korean Traditional Dance, recieved BFA from UC Irvine, in Choreography. She has danced with Jazz Spectrum, Sue Bernhart Dance Ensemble, Steels Dance Company, and was a member of Atlachinolli Aztec Dance Company in NYC. Shiwa has fell in love with Argentine Tango and Tai-chi because of it’s inner beauty, the power of embracing the hearts of people together. She has performed in numerous stages around the world as a professional Tango dancer with amazing partners and Tango orchestras. Shiwa operated Noh Way School in Bangor last 7 years, and also did a successful research on Tango/Qi-gong with Alzheimer patients with Husson University Physical Theraphy School. She is a founding member of nibezun.org lives in Wabanaki Territory with her family.
