Tom Sitzler (The man)
Tom Sitzler has been capturing audiences from New York to Los Angeles.Recent performances by Mr. Sitzler include a double bill of Gianni Schicchi & L’enfant et les sortilèges with Pacific Opera Project as Simone in and Le fauteuil, respectively. Mr. Sitzler made debuts this past season with Opera Fayetteville as Prophet/King in Nico Muhly’ Dark Sisters and with Alter Ego Chamber Opera in Phony by David Brown. He also returned to Painted Sky Opera as Escamillo in their production of La tragédie de Carmen.In recent years, Mr Sitzler has been carving a name for himself in roles of the dramatic baritone repertoire such as Scarpia from Tosca, which he has performed with Long Island Lyric Opera and Painted Sky Opera. For his debut with Painted Sky Opera, he portrayed Germont in La Traviata with much success. A frequent performer in Colorado, Mr. Sitzler has been seen as Escamillo from Carmen with Boulder Opera and as Alfio in Cavalleria Rusticana with Opera Steamboat.
Kenneth Overton (The client)
For his portrayal of Stephen Kumalo, in Kurt Weill’s Lost in The Stars, Baritone Kenneth Overton was nominated for the 2019 St. Louis Theatre Circle Award for “Outstanding Performance in an Opera”. Kenneth is enjoying singing leading roles at some of the world’s great opera houses such as, San Francisco Opera, L’Opera de Montreal, Palacio Bellas Artes, New York City Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, and the Royal Danish Opera as well as many regional opera houses in the U.S. including Opera Memphis, Nashville Opera, Utah Festival Opera, Opera Carolina, Toledo Opera, Opera Idaho, and Opera Grand Rapids. Recent appearances include a debut performance a Naxos Label Recording with the Buffalo Philharmonic of Richard Danielpour’s The Passion of Yeshua, and return engagements to the National Chorale at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and The Oregon Bach Festival. Kenneth is also the associate producer of the upcoming documentary, BLACK OPERA.
Angelica Feliciano (The date)
Angelica Feliciano is a singer and voice teacher living near Philadelphia. She is a transplant from Missouri where she sang with the St. Louis Symphony Chorus and got her Bachelors from Webster University. After moving to Pennsylvania in 2011 she sang with the Mendelssohn Club of Philadelphia where she performed in small ensembles and solos. She sings frequently with Delaware Valley Opera Company of Philadelphia and Wilmington Concert Opera. Angelica has also sung with Candlelight Theatre in Arden, Delaware where she played Bloody Mary in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific. She serves on the board of The Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and maintains a private studio. When not immersing herself in all things singing, she wrangles 3 kids and is an enthusiastic dog and chicken mom. She is excited and grateful to work with Viop bringing innovative musical artistic ideas to life.
William Lim (The marginalized)
William Lim The Marginalized William Lim obtained his Master and Bachelor of Music degrees from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines. He has performed for various opera companies including Opera Philadelphia, New York City Opera, St. Petersburg Opera, Garden State Opera, Opera Libera, Opera MODO, Poor Richard's Opera, Center City Opera Theater, Opera New Jersey, and Opera in the Ozarks. He has appeared as a concert soloist with the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, Symphony in C Orchestra, and the Philadelphia Singers. Most recently, he premiered the role of Patrick Quinlan in Francesco Santelli's historical opera, The Silk City.
