Playland Cast

Ben Caldwell has performed in Ujima productions of Free Fred Brown! and In the Red and Brown Water. He is currently serving as Corresponding Secretary of Ujima Theatre Company. He has appeared onstage for several other theater companies in Buffalo, including Shakespeare in Delaware Park, O'Connell and Company, and Irish Classical Theatre to name a few. He is a graduate of McKinley High School. Ben is indebted to Lorna C. Hill for allowing him to join in this collective’s work, grateful to Sarah Norat-Phillips and Phil Knoerzer for the opportunity to play this role, and to his fellow company members for their tremendous commitment, vision, artistry, and love for one another.

After a long hiatus Gerald Ramsey returns to the stage. He has previously performed in numerous productions with Ujima Theatre company and is reunited as a company member. He is thrilled to contribute to this production of Playland and thoroughly enjoyed teaming with fellow actor Ben Caldwell and Director Phil Knoerzer.
