Donna L. White has had the privilege of working with wonderful theatre companies in NY/CT. Favorite roles include Lady M (ForAll Theatre, Peekskill), Juror 9 (Twelve Angry Women - Alpha NYC), Cindy Hammond (Diminished Capacity - YCP Theatreworks), Becca (Rabbit Hole - YCP Theatreworks) and Sonia (Vanya, Sonia, Masha & Spike - Carriage House / Wilton Playhouse, CT). Donna can also be seen in Monsters Inside You (AMC) and The Lies That Bind (ID Network).
April Lichtman (Rodeo)
April Lichtman (Rodeo) is a junior BFA Acting major at UConn. Acting credits: The Wolves (Soccer Mom), Men on Boats (Hall), Much Ado About Nothing (Leonato), Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again. (Various), The Merry Wives of Windsor (Mistress Ford) w/ Hawaii Shakespeare Festival. Directing credits: These Shining Lives, Antigone, Little Women, Hillary and Clinton. Next, she will be playing Titania in OENP's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, streaming in December!
Zoe Bebon (Scraps)
Zoë is thrilled to be back with Town Players of New Canaan with this very talented cast and crew. She last appeared in TPNC’s Ladies in Retirement as Louisa Creed. Other recent roles include: Queen Gertrude in Hamlet, Sister Mary Lazarus in Sister Act and Mrs. Cratchit in Scrooge the Musical. Claire Kenny (Twirler)
Claire Kenny is proud to be a part of The Powerhouse Theater's virtual rendition of Talking With, seeing as it is her first 'show' on this stage! Most recently you may have seen Claire singing with Lawn Chair Theater's Like The Summer Sun in Rye, dancing on chairs and your table in Cabaret with Fairfield Center Stage, and as Sophie in Mamma Mia with Curtain Call in Stamford. The rest feels like dreams of yesteryear, as screen theater takes on a new norm--who knows where else Claire will appear! Thank you for your support and enjoy the show!
Sarah Smegal Sherwood (Dragons)
Sarah Sherwood (Dragons) is thankful to have the opportunity to create during these challenging times. She has performed at theaters across Fairfield County, including Cinderella, The Panto (Buttons), The Heiress (Marian), Fox on the Fairway (Louise), 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Logainne), and Proof (Catherine), here at TPNC. Some of her favorite adventures include: Boeing Boeing(Gretchen), Barefoot in the Park (Corie), Five Lesbians Eating a Quiche (Dale), Noises Off (Brooke), Steel Magnolias (Annelle), Our Town (Emily), Crimes of the Heart (Babe), and Psycho Beach Party (Chicklet). Sarah lives in Stamford with her husband, Robbie, and daughters, Angelina, and Juliet. She thanks Deborah and Glenn for giving her the opportunity to play again. Sarah sends love and thanks to her husband and bambini who keep her on her toes and gave her the greatest roles this gal could ask for. Il mio cuore appartiene a superuomo. Mon Dieu.
Jessie Gilbert (Clear Glass Marbles)
When not practicing her lines, Jessie practices trusts and estates law at Cummings & Lockwood in Greenwich, and karate, in which she has a black belt. She is also a Board Member of Westport Country Playhouse.
Janet Rathert (Lamps)
Janet began acting in the 1980s in her native Southern California, where she was a member of the Genesis Theatre Co. After relocating to Connecticut in 1998, she began appearing on local stages, including Long Wharf, Square One, Westport Community, Eastbound, and Norwalk Community Theatres, as well as performing with the Powerhouse and Putney Players. Janet recently appeared as Hillary in The Carriage House Arts Center Zoom production of “Hillary and Clinton.” She is three-time winner of the Square One Subscriber Award for Outstanding Actress. Janet retired from teaching English at UConn Stamford in 2018.

Andrea is delighted to be part of this great ensemble of women at one of her favorite theaters! Andrea has been part of the community theater scene for over 30 years. You might have seen her in past area productions of: The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife, Play On, Fiddler on the Roof, Hollywood Arms, The Last Romance, The Hallelujah Girls, Nuts, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Diary of Anne Frank, The Music Man, The Wedding Singer, Sabrina, and Enter Laughing—to name just a few. Thanks to Deborah Burke and Glenn Packman for this opportunity! Andrea coincidentally met her husband in McDonald’s 49 years ago and is now the proud Grandmother of Zach, who loves his happy meals!

Deborah LOVES acting, directing, producing, costuming, props, and set decorating… and does it all. You may recognize Deborah from her roles at TPNC in: The Dixie Swim Club; The Norman Conquests; Fox on the Fairway; Dearly Departed. At Curtain Call, Stamford in Comedy of Tenors; Hot L Baltimore; Calendar Girls; The Dixie Swim Club; Chapter Two; The Best Man; The Graduate. At Westport Community Theater in The Tail of the Allergist’s Wife; Dial M for Murder; The Diary of Anne Frank; The Prisoner of Second Avenue; I’m Not Rappaport; The Women. At DAC: Come Back to the Five & Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean; Laughter on the 23rd Floor; The Dinner Party; Cry Havoc; The Nerd; Getting Away with Murder; The Case of the Curious Condiment. Most recently she costumed an off-Broadway play, The Independents, which is our next scheduled show.
Katrina Snyder (Handler)
Katrina is happy to be joining in the fun for the first time with the Town Players in this truly unique production. Katrina has performed both onstage and behind the scenes for over 20 years in favorite shows as Truvy (Steele Magnolias), Miep Gies (Diary of Ann Frank), Catherine (The Foreigner), and Sonia (Vanya, Sonia, Masha & Spike). Thank you to Deborah and Glenn for keeping theater alive in these crazy times, "Papa" Andrea for the introduction, and to you, the audience, for giving us the opportunity to entertain.
