Director
Matt Michrina
Matt is really excited to be able to share "45 Plays for 45 Presidents" with an audience, albeit in a very nontraditional format. He has been involved with theatre in the Altoona area since 2004, primarily behind the scenes but finding his way on stage occasionally. Previously, he directed "The River" and co-directed "Boeing Boeing" for Things Unseen, stage managed, and done lighting and sound design for countless shows, in addition to serving as Things Unseen’s Co-Technical Director. He is also active with Altoona Community Theatre, currently serving as a Board Member. This show allowed him to mix his Political Science degree from Dickinson College and his love of theatre, which is a dream come true. In his spare time, Matt spending time with his partner Emily and their three cats, Ann Purrkins, Prince Berenger, and Chip Potts. "...we do not say that a man who takes no interest in politics is a man who minds his own business; we say that he has no business here at all." Pericles

Film Editing Crew Chief
Bethany Helsel
Bethany is excited to be a part of this show and trailblaze through the challenges presented in taking it from stage to screen! Going virtual has given her an opportunity to put her filmmaking skills to the test. Filmmaking has been her passion for the past 6 years, during which she has submitted short films for competitions as well as working on non-competition projects. She recently joined the Things Unseen family with the production of "She Kills Monsters" last year filling many roles, including her first as fight choreographer. You can also find Bethany raising money for sick children with the Gearbox Union group, being outdoors, and spending time with her 'partner in crime' Adam and their two fur babies, Lady and Maddox. Many thanks to Matt and the cast and crew for their patience with our 'trial and error' methods. She feels this experience can be summed up by the following quote by Matt, "Trial and Error and lots of Flash Paper!"

Sue is grateful to have had the opportunity to contribute to this unique and challenging theatre production and to collaborate with so many wonderful people! Many thanks to Mark, Matt, Emily, Courtney, Bonnie, Bob, Marlene, Maddie, and my two new best friends - home delivery and curbside pick-up! Jan Littrell
Jan is a retired administrator at University of Pittsburgh. Her past theatre experience has primarily been as a costumer for Altoona Community Theatre and Things Unseen, though in recent years she's gotten brave and tried her hand at performing both on stage and now in front of the camera! "I would like to thank the cast and crew for making 45 Presidents such a great experience. Remember to vote on November 3rd!"

Hair/Makeup
Maddie Letsche
Maddie first showed up on Altoona’s theatre scene in 1995, and is always looking for fun new ways to get involved. This show certainly fit that bill! While she has been involved with both the backstage and onstage aspects of Things Unseen’s productions, she’s never even dreamt of doing something like this. While theatre and all it entails are certainly a large part of her life, she also enjoys the visual arts, games, and spending time with her passel of pets. Maddie would like to thank her family for being so patient and supportive throughout the long rehearsal and filming process, and her filming buddy Lu, for offering all the spare hands and eyes and a shoulder to cry on around take 17.
