Lisa Silverman (Fifteen Minutes)
A native New Jerseyan who has called Knoxville her home for the past 10 years, Lisa Silverman ("Fifteen Minutes") is thrilled to be making her first appearance with Morristown Theatre Guild. Since moving to East TN, she has also performed with Theatre Knoxville Downtown, Flying Anvil Theatre, Wordplayers, and Tiger Lily. Additionally, Lisa has appeared in numerous productions in New Jersey, including her favorite roles in You Can't Take it with You, Cloud Nine, Nuts, Blithe Spirit, and Summer and Smoke. She lives in Knoxville with Max, her partner in life and love, and their adorable dog, Scout. Lisa is grateful to Kellie for casting her in this awesome role, which has given her a wonderful opportunity to grow as an actor, and is honored to be a part of an amazingly talented cast and crew, who bring this very funny and touching play to life. Jamie Branham Brown (Scraps)
Jamie Branam Brown ("Scraps") is excited to be participating in her fourth Morristown Theatre Guild production. She was the costume designer for the Walt Disney’s "Summer Magic" collaboration between the Morristown and the Newport Theatre Guilds. Past performances for MTG are: Linda Lodge in Move Over Mrs. Markham, and Hanna Warren in Plaza Suite. She also portrayed Lady Capulet in WSCC's production of Romeo and Juliet. Jamie is a past president of the NTG, where her early work was primarily as costume designer. A few of her favorite roles are: Eleanor Bander in Divorce Southern Style, Norma Hubley in Plaza Suite, Olive in The Odd Couple (female version), Mrs. Linde in A Doll's House, The Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz, and Dinah Grayson in The Dixie Swim Club (twice). She directed Twelve Angry Men, as well as a number of youth productions. She is a professor at ETSU. Jamie is the mother of four and mamie to 4 grandchildren. Paige Mengel (Clear Glass Marbles)
Paige Mengel ("Clear Glass Marbles") is excited to work on her first production with the Morristown Theatre Guild. She is a native and life-long resident of Greeneville and is the CFO of Greeneville Energy Authority. After working with numbers all day, Paige regains her sanity by being involved in theatre and writing a bi-weekly column for the Greeneville Sun. She serves as the Business Coordinator of the Greeneville Theatre Guild and was a driving force in its creation. She even met her husband through theatre, volunteering to work on set construction crews at Tusculum University, and they got married on the stage there. Paige enjoys working both onstage and backstage. Some of her favorite roles have been M'Lynn in Steel Magnolias, Juror #8 in 12 Angry Men, Dinah in The Dixie Swim Club, and Edith Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank. She would like to thank Kellie, for choosing her, and Frank, for putting up with her.
Allison Giles (Audition)
Allison Giles ("Audition") is appearing on the Morristown Theatre Guild stage for the first time since 1992(ish), when she was cast in the ensemble of Miracle on 34th Street. Her favorite roles over the years include: Roxie Hart in Chicago, Lina Lamont in Singin' In The Rain, Shelby in Steel Magnolia's, Baker's Wife in Into the Woods and Donna in Mamma Mia. Becky Shirley (Rodeo)
Howdy! Becky Shirley ("Rodeo") is excited to be joining Morristown Theatre Guild for another virtual production! She has been involved with the Guild for a little over a year and is excited to continue to bring theatre to the community, even in this unique way. She wants to extend a big thank you to everyone who has continued to support MTG. Enjoy the show!
Katrina Bosse (Twirler)
Katrina M. Bosse ("Twirler") is a third-year psychology/anthropology double major at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and an alumni of the International Thespian Society. This is Katrina's 13th production, a number which would worry her, if she were superstitious. The most exciting part of Talking With, in Katrina's opinion, is how it allows for her friends and family who live distantly to enjoy the performance. She'd like to thank TWC, three years strong.
Teresa Ridgeway (Lamps)
Teresa Ridgeway ("Lamps") is excited to be a part of this unique, new way of bringing performance theatre to the public. Over the last year, she has been involved with five Morristown Theatre Guild productions. Most recently, Tee has been actively participating in the Guild's @home events, which have been bringing different types of performances to our community through an online platform. Although Tee cannot wait to be able to return to live, onstage performances, she is proud of the work being done to continue to bring theatre to patrons during these ever-changing and trying times. Tee asks that anyone who enjoys the performance to consider giving a donation to help the Theatre Guild continue their endeavors.
Julie Owen (Handler)
Julie Owen ("Handler") is charmed to be participating in her first virtual production. She has performed in a number of previous Morristown Theatre Guild productions, including The Mousetrap and Arsenic and Old Lace. When not handling serpents, Julie is an amateur filmmaker and scifi enthusiast. She would like to thank her wonderful mother Karen, family and friends for their love, and the talented cast and crew as they embark onto the new media of virtual theatre.
Brandy Grimes (Dragons)
randy Grimes ("Dragons") has been with the Morristown Theatre Guild for over 10 years and a board member for eight. She has watched her kids, Victoria, Carson, and Micah on the stage for years, but her own debut only came this season. She was honored to work with Joe Powell on Flowers for Algernon. This is her second show with the Guild, and she is so excited to be working with Kellie Ward on this production. She is so grateful for all of the love and support she's received from her friends at the guild. She considers them all family! She's especially grateful for her amazing fiancé, Jeff Spencer, for always believing she can do anything she puts her mind to! She hopes you enjoy the show!
Sharon Seals (French Fries)
Sharon Seals ("French Fries") is so excited to be a part of Morristown Theatre Guild in this role. This is Sharon's fifth performance, some of which include The Red Velvet Cake War and Rex's Exes. She's been married to Laughton Seals for 40 years, and they volunteer with Lakeway CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) helping abused and neglected children. A livestream show has been a different challenge, but she hopes you enjoy this neat unique play!
Jessie Greene (Marks)
Jessie Greene ("Marks") is happy to make her return to Morristown Theatre Guild, after a brief hiatus. A long time thespian and former 5-plus-year MTG board member, Jessie has performed in many plays both professionally and voluntarily. Those plays include Rumors, A Christmas Carol, Crimes of the Heart, Run for Your Wife, Dearly Departed, and many more. She is ecstatic to be returning to this virtual stage in this poignant collection of monologues.
