Marija Abney (CASSANDRA)
Marija Abney is a South Carolina native. She moved to New York City to pursue a BFA at The Ailey School/Fordham University. She continued her education, graduating with a Master’s degree in performance studies from NYU’s TISCH and continued her development as an actor, graduating from The William Esper School’s two year Meisner training program. She was featured in Broadway’s The Cher Show and After Midnight, In Your Arms at The Old Globe in San Diego, New York City Opera’s final opera Anna Nicole, and Disney’s The Lion King. She can be seen as a Dora Milaje in Marvel’s Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Film/Television credits include: Luke Cage, Isn’t It Romantic, The Tick, The TONY Awards, FOX Searchlight’s Black Nativity, Dancing with The Stars, the Latin Grammy Awards, the Daytime Emmy Awards, and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Gerrard Lobo (TWO)
GERRARD LOBO is an NYC based actor who began his theater journey 10 years ago in his first role in the ensemble of Shakespeare’s “Antony and Cleopatra” as Alexas at The Poet’s Den Theatre in Harlem. Since then, Gerrard has continued to work on stage, as well as independent films and television, and can be seen in recurring roles as Anush on Netflix’s “Master Of None”, Adarsh on “Orange Is The New Black”, Raj on "YOU", Ron on the TBS show “Search Party", and most recently on Sony Crackle's "The Oath" as Rajiv. Gerrard is thrilled to be a part of this reading and would like to thank Molly Morris,Garret Jon Groenveld, Jessica Cummings, and his fellow cast members for bringing art to life and making it accessible during this time when most people need it. Gerrard loves to cook, spend time with his fiancé Alice and their two cats Sloopy and Mamma Ross, and looks forward to resuming stand up performances at open mics in his neighborhood around the East Village.
Alfredo Narciso (APOLLO)
Alfredo Narciso is an NYC-based actor, director and producer. Some recent stage credits: the Broadway revival of TIME AND THE CONWAYS at the American Airlines Theater, the initial run of TINY BEAUTIFUL THINGS (Adapted from Cheryl Strayed’s book by Nia Vardalos) at The Public Theater, and MOSCOW X 6 at MCC Theater. Some recent TV/Film credits: THE DARK TOWER, DEMOLITION, “Dispatches From Elsewhere” (AMC), “Monsterland” (Hulu), “New Amsterdam” (NBC) and a recurring role on “Manifest” (NBC). Ceasar F. Barajas (THREE)
Ceasar is an award-winning singer, dancer, actor, fight and dance choreographer, stuntman, musical theater talent, and voiceover artist. Favorite Theatre Credits include: In The Heights (Graffiti Pete, Assoc. Choreographer), Man Of La Mancha (Pedro, Helen Hayes Award Nomination, Shakespeare Theatre Company), Miss You Like Hell by Pulitzer Prize Winner, Quiara Alegria Hudes, Regional Premiere (Manuel) Some On-Camera credits: RAMY, THE LAST O.G., GOTHAM, MANIFEST, LAW & ORDER: SVU, RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2 (Motion Capture/Stunts) Ceasar has also performed & danced internationally alongside Sara Bareilles, J-Lo, Chris Brown, and various industrial & award shows but is most proud of his role as a U.S. Navy Veteran, Ambassador & Master Teacher for the @veteransyogaproject, and as an International Wellness Mentor & Advocate. Tori Khalil (STAGE DIRECTIONS)
Tori Khalil is an LA based actor who recently relocated from NYC. She graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts where she studied at Playwrights Horizons Theater School and Stonestreet Film Conservatory. Tori specializes in developing new works. Some of her favorite collaborations have included Clubbed Thumb, Playwrights Horizons, Mass MoCa, and La Mama. Tori is thrilled that she can stay connected to her NYC Theater Community through the magical and mystical powers of ZOOM.
