Brenton Cochran
Brenton is thrilled to be making his Brecksville Theatre debut directing this fantastic show! Brenton has been directing theatre since 2003 at the age of 15 and has been fortunate enough to direct and/or musically direct over 60 productions across Northeast Ohio. Some of his favorite previous directorial credits include "South Pacific", " Funny Girl ", " Thoroughly Modern Millie ", "Anything Goes", " The Secret Life of Girls ", "Gypsy", "Barbecuing Hamlet", " Boeing Boeing " and "Dividing the Estate". Brenton is the Vice President of Growth and Development on the Board of Trustees at Broadview Heights Spotlights. When not working in the theatre, Brenton spends most of his time working for Tri-Arch, Inc. Mcdonalds as a General Manager. Brenton would like to send a special thank you to his family and friends and the cast for their endless hard work and dedication. And his puggle Carlton, who misses him very much when he’s always at rehearsal. Enjoy the show!
Stage Manager
Jennifer Sindyla
Jen is excited to be stage managing at TBT for the first time. She is the resident stage manager at Cassidy and an active board member for Independence Community Theater where she is the Youth Summer Camp Director and has directed Once Upon a Mattress, and Godspell. Jen has been onstage performing in Nunsense (Sr. Robert Anne) at both ICT and Strongsville Community Theater. She holds a BA in theater from Baldwin-Wallace. Jen works for the Cleveland Metropolitan Schools teaching 4th grade.
Assistant Stage Manager
Keleigh Rae Bowling
Keleigh has been involved in theater since she could talk. She has been on, behind, directing, teaching or choreographing for 45 years. She actually has a degree on it, as well as a couple master's degrees in teaching. For the last 2 1/2 years she has been battling Thymic Carcinoma, which she beat. She is so excited to be back where she belongs. Thank you to Brenton for offering her this chance and thanks to Ma, AKA Audrey Sopko..for everything else.
Costumer
Amanda Magpoc
Amanda has enjoyed being both on and off stage at The Brecksville Theatre most recently as Sister Mary Patrick (Sister Act) and as the assistant stage manager of Newsies. Other favorite credits include costuming The 39 Steps and performing as Twink Futrelle in Southern Hospitality. She is pleased to continue making new friends in the ever growing theatre community and flexing her creative muscles.
Light Board and Sound Operator
Joellen Woodring
Joellen is pleased to be a part of her first production at The Brecksville Theatre! She has participated in a multitude of shows as the light board operator at the Cassidy Theatre for the past 8 years. She wishes to thank Brenton and Jen for the chance to spread her wings and try out a new light board. Thank you for supporting community theater and enjoy the show!
Props Manager
Evelyn Stevens
Evelyn has been helping behind the scenes for over ten years and loves the backstage 'Ninja' life. One of her jobs consists of making sure the props are where they belong and the actors have them when they go on stage. She also helps the stage manager in any way she can. Her other theater job is to gather and/or create props to enhance each play. Evelyn is a member of The Brecksville Theatre’s Board of Directors. She is thrilled to be continuing her theater experience here in Brecksville.
Lighting and Scenic Designer
Frankie Castrovillari
Frankie is a freelance lighting and set designer and is excited to be back at The Brecksville Theatre, having recently worked on A Streetcar Named Desire, Newsies, Sister Act, and most recently Legally Blonde here. Other recent credits include Sister Act and Shrek at the Players Guild Theatre, The Neverending Story at Magical Theatre Company, and I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change at Western Reserve Playhouse. When not working, Frankie can be found eating pasta and paying for a gym membership that he never uses.
