About LIFE SUCKS

LIFE  SUCKS.  by Aaron Posner

LIFE SUCKS--Aaron Posner's face lift of Anton Chekhov's classic Uncle Vanya--is a vehicle for all the same questions that its predecessor possessed (What is happiness? How can I get it? Will I be able to get it? Should I get it?) with one exception. The audience gets to answer back.

Posner's contemporary take on the tragicomedy of the human condition allows a striking and hilarious dialogue on humanity's journey through joy, love, purpose, and yes--despair. After experiencing the ups and downs of these characters' past and present selves, the audience will be urged to decide if it is indeed hopeless? Or, in other words--does life suck?
