About Little Women

"Little Women" is a timeless literary classic beloved by many generations of readers. Written by Louisa May Alcott, the story focuses on the the March family and their four young daughters; Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy during the 1860's in Massachusetts. The story follows the growth of each girl and their many blessings and hardships of growing up. A warm hearted drama, the story spans over 6 years as each girl takes their own path towards their dreams and in learning who they are through love and success, heartbreak and loss.

Adapted for the stage by Stephen Farruggia, whose other writing credits include: (Seraphim's adaption of  "A Christmas Carol",  The Princess & The Dragon, Searchers of the Black Death, Reviller Nightsong, Jabberwock Asylum, Mime Who Came to Dinner) This story follows the tradition of the two books in which Louisa May Alcott wrote and put so much heart and soul into. To properly tell the journey of each of the March girls and their journey from girls to young women,  this adaptation has been written in three acts. It is a pure retelling of a literary gem that has spanned and inspired so many for over 150 years!
