Truly Talented Kids is a cabaret-style show that includes singers, dancers, guitar players...even a local stand up comedian! This year some of the acts will include American Sign Language, and some original works! This show is a fundraiser with all of the proceeds going towards making improvements to Schoolhouse's Black Box Theatre! This event is produced by The Black Box Teens, a theatre education and service group made up of middle school and high school-aged students.  Come support a great cause!

A community arts organization located in the Old Standish High School in Sebago Lake Village, Schoolhouse Arts Center is a non-profit, community driven organization dedicated to arts education and the presentation of the arts.

Schoolhouse Arts Center's mission is to encourage individual growth and a spirit of community through participation in the arts. Schoolhouse seeks to foster a fun, creative, educational, and supportive arts environment where people can grow, develop skills, and involve themselves in the arts. Among these core beliefs is an idea that communities with access to the arts are richer and more vital than those without. Schoolhouse is dedicated to providing the benefits arts involvement to an area that may otherwise be underserved.

Formed in the spring of 1988 by Hank and Nancy Beebe, Schoolhouse initially endeavored to produce community plays. An arts education program was implemented in the fall of 1989, a board of directors was formed in 1990 and in 1994, the group purchased the Old Standish High School building in Sebago Lake Village—shown at right in a photograph circa 1920. A wing was added later to the south side of the building, which now serves as the dance studio and second floor art room. The basement was remade into the main performance space, with the first and second floor rooms as classroom and meeting space.
