About The Trojan Women

Nordhoff Theatre Arts is proud to present you the second in our series of classic theatre staged for a radio audience. The Trojan Women by Euripides is a tragedy that forces the audience to confront the realities of war, patriarchy, and suffering.

This modern adaptation was first produced in 342 BC during the Peloponnesian War.  This story was the third in a series about the Trojan War.  The story follows the fate of the women of Troy after their city has been sacked, their husbands killed, and their families taken as slaves.

This production stars Aubrey Brenes, Naomi Foote, Delancey Vogt, Jasmine Harper, and Madison Hall as the Chorus.

Ruby Currie, Karys Everett, Nakaya Mendoza-Maashoff, Madden Miles, Corallyn Moss, McKenna Turner, Ashlyn Grigsby, and Emerson Poultney as the Trojan Women.

Tyler Rauch as the announcer and Foster Eddy as the commentator.

Rafael Sierra as King Menalaus.

Jaden Foster as Talthybius.

Phoebe Dohrn as Andromache.

Maple Umscheid as Cassandra.

And Sienna Patterson as Hecuba

The Nordhoff High School Theatre Arts Department is proud to present an original radio production of The Trojan Women. Due to pandemic restrictions, it was decided to focus our return on voice acting in the original distance learning entertainment platform which is a radio broadcast. We hope that you enjoy the second in a series of radio style broadcasts that merge modern technology with this most original of American art forms.
