A group of students on their way to a drama festival get lost in an enchanted forest where they encounter some fairy-tale characters who escort the students to Academy Grimm. At Academy Grimm, the students meet a misfit bunch of fairy-tale characters with issues. The characters tell the students Academy Grimm is a fairy-tale training academy, but the students soon discover that Academy Grimm is more like fairy-tale rehab!

Sock and Buskin, the Greek names of the happy and sad theatre faces, is the official name of the Madison-Grant drama club. Drama Club is being re-launched this year after the being absent from the MG landscape for about half a decade. Theatre programs, whether in the community, a school, or elsewhere seem to create an environment where individuals from all backgrounds find common ground and are able to create something amazing. Sock and Buskin is no exception. Many students involved in the production of Academy Grimm are involved in other activities at MG, but some devote all their attention to the stage. 

The majority of the cast of Academy Grimm are on the stage for the first time. There is something magical about the first time on stage, often it is an experience that is never forgotten. For others this is just one show in a long resume of performances. I'm excited to have shared this experience with them. Thank you for supporting all our students, whether on stage or behind the scenes.
