Charlotte’s Web Cast

Dustin Barcus (Gander/Uncle)
Dustin Barcus is excited to be in the cast as Gander and Farmer. Dustin was part of the musical Shrek in the spring of 2019. This is his second time being in Acting 1 class with Mrs. Riggs. He enjoys being on stage with his friends and classmates. Dustin looks forward to meeting and working with new friends. He is undecided about what he will be doing after graduation. Dustin would like to thank Mrs. Riggs for giving him the chance to perform in this production of Charlotte's Web, and previous class productions, and for all of her support and encouraging words throughout his time at Logan High School. He would like to also thank Miss Gabby and Miss Angie for their help with learning his lines, and for always helping him by getting and being prepared.
Lauren Begley (Homer Zuckerman)
Lauren Begley is a sophomore attending Logan High School and the daughter of Kris and Carly Begley. She is in the marching band and loves theater, guitar, and writing. Charlotte's Web is her fourth show with LHS, after Mort, A Miracle on Santa Claus Lane, and Shrek the Musical.
Alayna Blanchard (Goose)
Alayna Blanchard is so excited to be in her first show at LHS. Alayna is a freshman and plays volleyball. She was in her middle school production of Headin' For The Hills and played the roll of Rose Marie Murdock and Chloe. She plans to go to college but is undecided on what she wants to pursue. Alayna's favorite hobbies include playing volleyball, going to games and spending time with her friends.
Keely Corne (Nellie)
Keely Corne is eager to be in her first play! She is a second grader at Chieftain Elementary, and her favorite subjects are reading and writing, and one of her favorite books is Charlotte's Web! Her parents Don and Sarah Corne are very proud of how hard she studies in school and are so excited to see her performance in the play. When Keely graduates from school she hopes to become an Equine Veterinarian because she loves animals, and horses are her favorite.
Aly Deaney (Mrs. Arable)
Aly Deaney moved to LHS last school year and this is her 4th show here at LHS. Her parents are Jennifer and Joseph Aspy. She also is in Chamber and 328 (Varsity Choir) . She spends a lot of time writing music, drawing, and coming up with stories. Theatre is a big part of life and is very sad that this is her last fall show. After high school she wants to become either a special education or elementary school teacher. Special thanks to her mom for always supporting her and to her friends shes made in this theatre that have really shown her what it's like to genuinely be happy and be supported over these past almost 2 years. Becca, Mel, Orion, Lilith Lauren, Ashley, and so many others.
Becca Gates (Sheep)
Becca Gates is a senior, she has participated in theatre all four years. Some of her favorite roles are Jacks Mom from Into the Woods and Dragon from Shrek: The Musical. Becca also participates in choir, a job, and many others. Becca is excited for her senior year and excited to see what is to come.
Abigail Getchell (Aranea)
Abigail "Abby" Getchell is a First grader at Central Elementary School. She is very happy to have been chosen to be a part of her very first play. She is the daughter of Megan Reed and Timothy Getchell. She hopes to follow in her mother's theater footsteps. She is involved in Cub Scouts as a Tiger. Abby would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her. Abby would also like to thank those that chose her for this amazing opportunity.
Arizona Hamm (Lamb)
Arizona Hamm is a sophomore and the daughter of Roger and Jessica Hamm. She has been in multiple shows including The Wizard of Oz, The Door, and Tracks. Arizona also acted as Dorothy in Dorothy in Wonderland. Other activities she participates in include band, tennis, In The Know, Girl Scouts, and FCCLA.
Alison Horner (Wilbur)
Charlotte's Web is Ali Horner's first show at LHS. She is a freshman and plans to do many more plays in the future of her time in the high school. Ali wants to also continue doing plays when she is out of high school. She also just doesn't want to do plays in her career but to also take her acting career further and audition for big roles in movies or shows.
Gracie Miller (Charlotte)
Gracie is a senior at Logan High School. After she graduates she plans on going to college to pursue her life goal of working in Human Resources. Gracie has been in many productions before including: Footloose, The Importance of Being Earnest, The Music Man, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Gracie would like to thank all of her teachers from Elementary to now for helping her shape herself into the person she is, as well as all of the family and friends who have supported her.
Pamela Martinez-Ibarra (Edith Zuckerman)
As a senior, Charlotte's Web will be Mel's last fall play, and working on this show has not been easy, but it has been rewarding and so much fun. She's done all the shows at LHS since her sophomore year and her only regret is that she didn't start sooner. She loves the performing arts and and arts in general. She hopes to continue acting, singing and designing in her adult life as well. She plans to attend Antioch College next fall and is currently undecided.
Shylynn McKnight (Announcer/1st Chorus)
Shylynn lives with her family; Angela, William, and Lang McKnight. She is a senior and has been part of LHS's Theater program for four years now. She also is active in LHS's Varsity Cross Country, Wrestling, and Track teams. After high school Shylynn plans to go to a four year college and get her Bachelor degree as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Currently she is looking at Cedarville University and is hoping to participate in their theater program as well. "Giving a special thanks to all the adults who made this show happen, all of our patrons, our school, and our special Miss Shelly Riggs and Karen Bergreen. Also sending out an even more special thanks to my family, for supporting me in everything I do because I know I keep you all on your toes."
Kyndal Nutter (Templeton)
Kyndal Nutter (Set Crew and Templeton) is excited to perform in Charlotte's Web. She has been in two other plays, Any Body for Tea? and Fractured. She is a sophomore and the daughter of Stephanie and Buddy Nutter. She also has two younger brothers, Blayke and Austyn Nutter. After High school, she plans to go into the accounting field, but she doesn’t know if she wants to go to college yet. She also boxes, did band for two years, was in choir for one year, and was in Drama class in 8th grade and Acting 1 freshmen year. She would like to thank her entire family for the support and encouragement to do this play and helping her out through life.
Sophia Ogg (Joy)
Sophia Ogg is excited to be making her stage debut! She is the daughter of Joshua and Cynthia Ogg, and is in the second grade at Central Elementary. Sophia loves all things pink, singing loudly, and her cat. You can see her on stage again in February in the Hocking County Children's Chorus production of Frozen Jr.
Ethan Overley (Lurvy)
This is Ethan's third play at Logan HS theater and he is proud to be here everyday. He never thought he would ever do theater or be able to act on stage but last year his mind changed about that and he have learned so many different things last year just from doing a show for the HS. He can't wait for his next few years in theater.
Lilith Tackett (John Arable)
Lilith Tackett is a Junior at LHS. She is the daughter of Brian and Jennifer Tackett. She has been a part of Shrek the Musical (Dragon, Rat), Fearful Symmetry(Blue Mom), and Princess Who?(Queen of the West). Lilith’s favorite place to be is on the stage or in the choir room. Lilith is actively involved in Chamber Singers and Women’s Chorale. She plans to attend college after high school for a career in music. Lilith would like to thank her choir director Mr. McClain for giving her once in a lifetime opportunities and inspiring her to be her best self.
Stewart Travis (Avery Arable)
Stewart Travis is a freshman, playing Avery Arable. He is glad to have my dad, Michael; my mom, Mindy; and my brother, Seth. He is in golf, bowling, mock trial, FCCLA and does field events in track. He would like to thank his grandparents, his parents and the greatest friends ever (he considers them family) Nancy French & Fred Vaughan.
Elyssa Wolfe (Fern Arable)
Elyssa Wolfe is proud to be doing her first acting role in her first fall play. Although she has done other shows such as being part of set crew and sound crew for Shrek the Musical and being a member of the ensemble for A Miracle on Santa Claus Lane. Her plans for after high school are to join the National Guard and go to college for Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement. Elyssa also is apart of the Logan Band and attends school at Tri-County Career Center. Elyssa's parents are Terry Wolfe and Traci Wolfe. She would also like to give a special thanks to all of her family and friends who have supported her throughout this exciting eventful journey.
