Cinnamon Schultz
Cinnamon is so excited to be able to direct this production for Kansas City Kansas Community College. She is also happy to be the head Acting teacher for KCKCC. She has also had the pleasure of performing at several other theatres in Kansas City: Heart of American Shakespeare Festival, The Unicorn Theatre, The Coterie Theatre, Theatre for Young America, the KCRep., Kansas City Actors Theatre and The New Theatre Restaurant. While performing on stage, Cinnamon has also been quite busy in radio, television and film as well. She appeared as Victoria in the film Winter’s Bone, which was awarded the Grand Jury Prize at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and received four Oscar nominations in 2011 including Best Picture. Cinnamon lives in the KC area with husband (the talented Brian Paulette) and their amazing children Anika and Leo.

Scenic Designer/Technical Director
Gary Mosby
is Coordinator of Theatre here at Kansas City Kansas Community College, as well as, heading the Theatre Technology area of the department. Gary teaches the theatre technology classes, including 2 levels of stagecraft and 2 levels of lighting and stage management and also designs the scenery and lighting for the department productions. In addition to his work here with the students, Gary enjoys working as a scenic designer with several local professional companies, such as Unicorn Theatre, KCRep, and Kansas City Actors Theatre. Some recent college designs would be Lobby Hero and the very popular production of Heathers the Musical and professionally, Sea Marks and Death and the Maiden and most recently Master Harold and the Boys “My favorite part of theatre and teaching is collaboration, sharing ideas and experiences”. Lighting/Projections Designer
Kris Kirkwood
Kris Kirkwood, Lighting Design. Kris is a lighting, projections, and media designer based out of Kansas City, MO. His recent work includes designs for Trouble in Tahiti for the Lexington Philharmonic, Nelly Don the Musical, Front Page News at Cumberland County Playhouse, and Hansel und Gretel at Bar Harbor Music Festival. Kris is a co-founding member of Papermoon Opera Productions, with recent design credits for Carmen at Annapolis Opera, and upcoming designs for Madame Butterfly at Inland Northwest Opera and Don Giovanni at Pensacola Opera. He has designed locally at the Coterie, the Unicorn, Mesner Puppet Theater, Graceland University, Missouri Western State University, Kansas City Kansas Community College, the Gem, and others. He would like to thank his wife Jennifer and his family.

Mark Ferrell
Mark Ferrell has worked nationally and internationally as a Music Director/Conductor, collaborative pianist and vocal coach. He has performed extensively in the United States, Japan and South America. Mandy Morris-Newman
is so excited to be making her debut as choreographer here at KCKCC! Mandy has performed at numerous theaters around town as well as singing and dancing her way around the world on major cruise lines. Recently, Mandy had the pleasure choreographing The Buddy Holly Story at The New Theatre. Nancy Robinson
has recently had her work appear at The Living Room and MTH theaters and Lyric Opera Kansas City. Her film work includes CSA, Jayhawkers, The Only Good Indian, Destination Planet Negro (these 4 projects with Oscar winner Kevin Willmott as director), Gone Girl, Last Ounce of Courage, All Creatures Here Below,, and HBO's True Detective (television). She has designed for scores of television commercials, including two that aired during Super Bowls. She won an award for costume design for the web series Redbird. She owns and operates a costume rental house in Kansas City, MO. She designed Heathers for KCKCC in spring 2019 and is thrilled to be returning to work with this amazing community.

Jonathan Robertson
Jon Robertson is a composer and sound designer based in Kansas City. He is excited to be returning to KCKCC having recently designed Heathers. Recent work: All Shook Up (Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre), In the Heights (Musical Theater Heritage), Men on Boats (Unicorn Theatre), Mornings at Seven (Kansas City Actors Theatre).

Puppet Designer
Shawn Sorrell
Shawn studied and worked under master puppeteer Dolores Hadley of La Famille Marionettes for 10 years before striking out on his own performing the “Drawbridge Review” at Renaissance Festivals around the country. He eventually settled back in Kansas City where he worked with Stone Lion Puppet Theatre as their master puppeteer for many years. For the past 18 years he has been working as a theatrical wardrobe worker and is a member of I.A.T.S.E. T.W.U Local 810. While he no longer regularly works in the puppetry world, he still takes on special theatrical puppet projects like as a puppet designer and consultant.

Wendy Scott
An accomplished artist in a variety of mediums, Wendy has worked in New York, France and around the US. Her theatre work in Kansas City includes the New Theater Restaurant and the MET. For the past 10 + years, Wendy has been the resident Property Master and Scenic Artist at KCKCC. She received a Kennedy Center Award for Scenic Artistry in 2012 for her craftsmanship on the Theatre Department’s production of Smokey Joe’s Café. A successful businesswoman, Wendy owns Kitschup Creations, designing celebrity and custom prayer candles sold in various emporiums around Kansas City, the U.S. and internationally (find her online at kitschupcreations.com). Stage Manager
Julia Hartner
This is Julia Hartner’s second year at KCKCC and her 5th production. She ran sound board for Lobby Hero, was an assistant stage manager for Doubt, a follow spot for Heathers: The Musical and played Kyli in The Election. This is her first-time stage managing but she is excited for the learning opportunity! She will also be directing her first play No Exit by Jean Paul-Stare this fall!
