About Cruisin'

Wyoming’s Good Time Rock N Roll Band Let’s take a trip back in time, when it was “hip to hep, cool to be popular, to be teenage and going steady” ! Cruisin’ is  a six-person ensemble of 2 ladies & 4 dudes, playing Top-10 “Sock Hop” hits from Rock N’ Roll’s Good-Time Era of the 50's / 60's & 70's. With hundreds of shows under our belt, 2019 marks our 30th year of performing together. Cruisin’ has been fortunate to have opened concerts for the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, been a featured artist at the Casper Events Center’s Classic Fest and performed with the legendary Wolfman Jack.
With an extensive song repertoire, Cruisin’ shows are fast-paced, crowd inter-active and can be tailored to fit your occasion. Cruisin’s harmonies set us apart from other acts, allowing us to authentically cover everything from Doo Wop to the Beach Boys summer classics. With our two female leads, Cruisin’ can recreate the mega-hits of the 60’s Girl Groups, from Motown to Phil Spector's Wall of Sound. So let’s get this party started !
We’ll play the songs ... you bring your memories !

Homestake Opera House

From its construction in 1914 until a catastrophic fire in 1984, the Opera House was the center of community life and lifelong education in Lead, South Dakota. The Historic Opera House Society is dedicated to its restoration, use, and preservation for future generations, in the belief that it is the cornerstone for the preservation, renewal, and development of our community.

The society’s focus is on fundraising to acquire funds as necessary to complete the restoration of the theater and recreation center building to bring back “The Jewel of the Black Hills” to its original 1914 glory. While these efforts continue, the Society makes use of the facility to the extent possible to generate revenue and advance its mission.
