Big Fish Cast

Bailey is so excited to be in “Big Fish.” She loves the world of theatre and hopes to teach theatre someday. She got her start in 4th grade in a school production and has been HOOKED ever since! Some things she enjoys are reading, writing (not writing cast bios, because they are so hard to write), and being surrounded by friends and family. She is also in choir here at Herriman High and enjoys the performing arts. She would love to thank EVERYONE in the cast for showing her kindness and being a friend to her.

Léa Cordani- Léa is in 11th grade, she is 17 years old and she’s an exchange student from Paris, France. There, she has already performed in several musicals such as Grease in which she played Sandy, the main character! In Herriman High School’s new production Big Fish, she is going to play Karl’s wife, and is part of the Ensemble. She is really excited for it! Léa loves dancing, she started dance when she was 5 years old and never stopped since. She mostly does modern and contemporary but she has done hiphop and ballet before! Léa also likes theatre a lot, especially musical theatre. She was thrilled when she heard the school was going to have a musical production!

Audri Dara has been a part of theatre since the awkward days of middle school. Playing Lady Macbeth and many other roles. She is a classified band nerd and has memorized 136 digits of pi. Not to mention she could school you in ping pong any day.

Calli is excited to be performing her 5th show with Herriman High School! Calli is 18 years old and has performed in other shows including “Much Ado About Nothing”, “You Can’t Take It With You” and “The Drowsy Chaperone”. In her free time she enjoys dancing with the Herriman Ballroom Team, being with family, and friends.

Jonathan Francis has had a passion for performing since he was 3 years old! From winning first place in a baby pagent at 2 to performing in musicals from elementary till now. Some of the shows he has participated in were R&H Cinderella (the Herald), Neverland an Epic Adventure (Galliant Lion) and High School Musical (Ryan Evans). He also made his Herriman debut as Verges in Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing.

Kaden is very excited to be in HHS's production of Big Fish. He has been doing theatre for 4 years. This is his 8th show, some of which include: Suessical the Musical Jr., Aladdin Jr., Romeo and Juliet, and Much Ado About Nothing. When not performing Kaden loves studying, reading, swimming, and archery.

Jarren is currently serving as the drama president at Herriman high school. At 17 years old, he has been doing theatre since elementary school. Some of his favorite roles include Tony Kirby (You Can't Take It With You), Robert Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone), and Antipholus of Ephesus (The Comedy of Errors). Other roles include Joe Summers (The Lottery) and Paul (Kiss Me Kate) as well as others. Jarren loves skiing, camping and being with his fantastic friends as well as performing with his choir and orchestra. He would like to thank his awesome mother for supporting him and for providing an array of opportunities to him.

Kala Hyte is enthusiastic to be in Big fish the musical for her junior year with Herriman High, and is exuberant to perform in front of her friends and family. Kala has performed in several Ft. Herriman Middle School productions including Annie jr, Honk jr, and Sussical jr. She also had the opportunity to be involved in Herriman Art Council’s summer production of Shrek. Kala has loved the arts since she was little, and has grown a love for singing, playing the guitar, and drawing. She was excited to be chosen to perform in front of her graduating 9th grade class where she played her guitar and sang a solo. Kala enjoys being a member of Herriman City Youth Council where she loves serving the community. She is thankful for her father and everyone who has supported her in the arts.

This is Cassidy's first musical at Herriman High. She's extremely excited to be not only in the play but helping behind the scenes on stage crew. Previously she has been a lioness in Lion King Jr, an orphan in Annie Jr, and a few roles in Herriman Arts Councils children shows. Cassidy has loved learning tap and getting to know new students. She is very excited to continue her acting with many shows to come .

7th grader Cutter Jensen is so excited to debut on the Herriman High Stage. It is a great opportunity to perform with his big sis in Big Fish! Cutter has been singing, dancing and acting on stage since he was six thanks to the Herriman Art Councils children’s workshops every summer. He has played Winnie the Pooh, Crabbe from Harry Potter, and most recently a band member of Survivor. Cutter is a big fan of several YouTubers and had the opportunity to meet Shonduras this summer; he was very excited about that, he hopes to meet more. School, legos, computer games, and serving others are just a few of the things that keep Cutter busy. He enjoys spending time with his family, and family game night is always a fun adventure! He is a great little brother to both of his sisters. Cutter wants to thank Mrs. DeYoung for giving him this opportunity!

Brynlee is very excited to be in this production of Big Fish! Brynlee is a sophomore this year and has been in other plays such as “Shrek Jr”, “Mary Poppins”, and “The Little Mermaid Jr.”. Brynlee enjoys dancing and doing makeup in her spare time. Enjoy the show!

Connor is a 17 year old actor who has been acting since he was 7. Some of his previous roles include: Man in Chair in The Drowsy Chaperone, Bill Calhoun/Lucentio in Kiss Me Kate, and Shrek in Shrek The Musical. Other than doing theatre Connor also likes to play soccer and basketball, as well as play and make music. Connor is going to study theatre beyond high school into college and is looking forward to what comes to him in the future. He is thankful for all the people who have supported him for the past 4 years-worth of shows he has done in Utah, but most of all his mother Alexis and his father Brian.

Jayden is in her Junior year here at Herriman High, and Big Fish is her 10th musical production. A few of the musicals she has been a part of include "Grease", "Roger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella", "Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" and "Kiss Me Kate". She has always enjoyed acting and singing since she was young. When she's not on stage she enjoys drawing, photography, and travel. Jayden is so glad to have the opportunity to be a part of this amazing production with all of these extremely talented students.

Lilly is very excited to be involved in his production of Big Fish, as a Witch and townsperson. Lilly has wanted to do Big Fish ever since she first saw it at Hale Theater. She has a very strong connection to some of the unforgettable characters. This is Lilly’s 8th show and she is very excited to continue her theatre experience. As well as theatre, she is involved in Choir and is currently a part of Herriman high’s A capella and Vivace choirs. Performing arts are a passion is hers and she is looking forward to many more years of experience in this loving community.

This is Jonathan’s first performance at Herriman, and although he was very nervous at first, he is now very excited to be a part of Big Fish! He has been a co-star in the BYU film student’s short movie “Weeping,” young Spencer W. Kimball in a Mormon message, and ensemble in the Desert Star production of “Les Miserables.” He loves reading, hanging out with friends, and learning random trivia for fun. He’s also very surprised and happy that he “actually got a character with a name.

Logan Thompson is super excited to work on Big Fish. He was previously Claudio in Much Ado about Nothing, and this is his second time acting in a show. Spending much of his time listening to music, doing schoolwork and maintaining a job, Logan loves working in this show with his friends.

Blue eyes full of space and stars. Always humming, singing, tapping, songs bleeding together and drifting apart absently. The breeze was her guardian angel, the void her lullaby. And when she sang she became both in an instant. Rachel is a senior in high school and a senior citizen at heart. If you’re not careful, she will steal your heart and your Altoids after she serenades you to the stars.
