Maura is the Theatre Arts teacher at Granite State Arts Academy, as well as the director of the GSAA Theatrical Society. A Massachusetts resident, Maura earned her Bachelor of Art degree from Emerson College where she majored in Theatre Education and minored in Hearing and Deafness. She then went on to earn her master’s degree in Educational Theatre in Colleges and Communities from New York University. She has been directing and choreographing for over a decade and has worked with schools and companies all across the state. In addition to teaching at GSAA, Maura is also a teaching artist for North Shore Music Theatre’s educational program. Other performance groups she has worked and taught with include Weston High School Drama Company, Proscenium Circus, Music Is Art Agency, Applause Academy, and Wakefield High School.

Jenna McMahon is the director of the dance department for Granite State Arts Academy. Her past choreographed musicals include Rent, Pippin, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Little Mermaid Jr and The Addams Family Jr. Jenna is excited to see the students perform “The Wedding Singer”. She is convinced that all of their hard work will pay off. “Break a leg!”
