Carter Forest (Jesus)
Carter Forest is excited to be part of Gilford High School’s production of Godspell Jr. He is currently a freshman at GHS. He is best known for his role as Hans in the NH premiere of Frozen Jr. Carter has also starred as Ren McCormack in Footloose, Billy Crocker in Anything Goes, Captain Hook in Peter Pan, and Brad, in RB’s award- winning production of Hairspray Jr. When he is not acting, he enjoys skiing, running, and practicing his 4 instruments. He would like to thank his family for their continued support!
Jesse Powers (John The Baptist & Judas)
Jesse Powers is a sophomore at Gilford High School. He has been in every show at Gilford since he was in fifth grade (excluding Footloose). A few of his favorites include playing Young Simba (Lion King), Emmett Forrest (Legally Blonde), Peter Pan (Peter Pan), Billy Crocker (Anything Goes), Kristoff (Frozen), Ryan Evans (High School Musical), and Freddy (School of Rock). He has also done a few shows through Street Car. His favorite among those being Mary Poppins, where he got to play Michael Banks. He has been in a total of 18 shows, and is excited to be part of another. His hobbies outside of theatre include gaming, playing the drums, guitar, and piano, singing, dancing, and hanging out with friends.
Ashley Kulcsar (Soloist - "Learn Your Lessons")
Ashley is a junior at Gilford High School and has been doing theatre since she was in 4th grade. She does various sports and hobbies outside of school including soccer, tennis, skiing, and singing. Along with shows here, she has also done RB for 2 years playing Mrs. Darbus (High School Musical) and multiple roles in Hairspray. She is excited to perform in this amazing show with these amazing cast mates.
Isabella Cottrell (Soloist - "Day By Day")
Isabella is excited to be a part of Godspell with GHS, she has been in over 35 productions. She started theater when she was 6 years old with The Streetcar Company. She has traveled all over New England participating in over 20 short films and will be working on her second full length feature this Fall. She loves to sing and dance too. When she is not acting, singing or dancing she is spending time with her family and animals. She travels in the fall and winter months training and racing sled dogs. She would like us all to remember to live “Day by Day!”
Riley Powers (Soloist - “Bless The Lord”)
Riley is a freshman at Gilford High School and loves anything to do with music and dancing! She has been a part of Gilford theatre since fourth grade and can't want to do more shows in the future! Riley’s previous roles include Annie in Annie, Wednesday in The Addams Family, Wendy in Peter Pan, and Ariel in The Little Mermaid. She also plays drums, piano, guitar, bells, and sings and dances. Riley is also a part of the Gilford HS choir and band, and does community band!
Brayden Taylor (Soloist - "Light of the World")
Brayden has been doing Theater since middle school. He was in Willy Wonka jr, Lion king jr, Bye bye birdie jr, Oliver, among others. He loves meeting anyone who comes to drama and has fun in play practice. He can’t wait to be on stage on the 21st and the 22nd!
Sydney Eastman (Soloist - "We Beseech Thee")
Sydney Eastman is a freshman at Gilford High School. She loves her pets, odie, freya and monty. Her hobbies include singing, writing and reading, skiing, playing the piano, running, painting, and so much more which sums up her exuberant personality. Sydney has been in theater since the 5th grade and has continued nonstop. She has been to Broadway Jr. in NYC and loved her roles as Teen Fiona in Shrek, Snoopy in Charlie Brown, Jack in Into The Woods and Rusty in Footloose. Sydney is so ecstatic to be in Godspell Jr. and can't wait to perform again!!
Brielle Vasilevsky (Soloist - "Light of the World")
Brielle has always loved singing and musical arts, but this will be her first real performance. Being in a show all about doing good for others and accepting all people makes it more important to her. Other than singing Brielle also loves art and drawing. She writes short stories, and holds reading very close to her heart. Godspell is a great way to step out of her shell and take on a new surrounding, and she’s all ready to jump right in!
Caitlyn Costa (Soloist - "Beautiful City")
Caitlyn Costa is a junior at Gilford High School. She has been doing theatre since the 6th grade. During the first production of Godspell she ran lights and the second she ran sound. She is excited to finally preform in the third production. Her favorite theatre experiences were playing Tomika in School of Rock and being a part of the crew for The Seussification of a Midsummer Night's Dream. She enjoys painting, singing, and hanging out with friends.
Karina MacLeod (Soloist - "All Good Gifts")
Karina MacLeod is a Junior at Gilford High School. She has been doing theatre for three years. Her favorite performance she was able to be a part of was These Shining Lives, which was unfortunately cancelled in March. When she’s not at rehearsal, you can find Karina at dancing. She is so excited to contribute to the show and hopes that you all have a fantastic time!
Anna Cook (Choreographer)
Anna Cook is a junior at Gilford High. She has been doing shows in and outside of Gilford since fourth grade. Her other hobbies include writing songs, dancing, and watching musicals with my friends.
Maria Uicker (Choreographer)
Maria is a sophomore at Gilford High School this year. When not performing on the stage, she swims on Gilford’s Varsity Swim Team and skis. In the seven years of Maria’s theater career, her highlighted shows include playing Kendra (13 the Musical), Step-sister (iTheatrics Cinderella Jr.), Annie- twice!-(Annie), and Elsa (NH Premier of Frozen Jr.). She has been in a total of 30 shows and is proud to add Godspell to that list.
Camryn Marshall (Choreographer)
Camryn Marshall is a Sophomore at Gilford High School. Camryn enjoys singing, dancing, attending Broadway Musicals in NYC and spending time with friends. Camryn has been a part of Gilford theatre since fourth grade and has enjoyed performing in many shows since then. Camryn’s previous roles include Elle in Legally Blonde, Wendy in Peter Pan, Hope in Anything Goes, Princess Anna in Frozen, Jr., Aerial in Footloose, Jr., Sharpay in Highschool Musical, Jr., and Mason in School of Rock.
Chelsea Sasserson (Co-Director)
Chelsea Sasserson is a Senior at Gilford High School. She has been a part of every production at Gilford since she was in fifth grade. Some of her favorites have been The Seussification of a Midsummer Night's Dream, School of Rock, and These Shining Lives (sadly lost to COVID, but it would have been amazing). She has also done shows at The Winnipesaukee Playhouse including, Urinetown, The Wolves, and Aida. Chelsea was also a top three finalist at last year's New Hampshire Theater Awards for playing Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray Jr. at RB Productions. Now let’s sing about love!
Marena Beale (Choreographer)
Marena Beale is a sophomore at Gilford High School and has been dancing since the age of two. She trains and competes in many different styles, including ballet, musical theatre, tap, and more. Marena is also a contestant in the teen division of Miss New Hampshire, currently holding the local title of Miss Greater Plaistow's Outstanding Teen, and uses her title to advocate for mental health awareness. She absolutely loves helping with the Gilford Theatre Program and hopes you enjoy the show!
