Blithe Spirit Cast

Sue Clohecy (Edith)
Sue Clohecy is one of the original charter members of the Georgetown Theatre Workshop. Sue spent 30+ years doing daycare in her home and eventually in the homes of triplets in Boxford and surviving twins in Salem, NH. She worked for Big Brothers, Big Sisters as a parent aide, where she taught parenting classes. She has volunteered for many different organizations over the years. She has been a Trustee of the Georgetown Peabody Library for many years. She has been involved in some way with almost every one of the 100+ productions the GTW has performed. Sue is currently, and has been the secretary for the GTW for a number of years. She is well known for the comedic value of her meeting minutes. Sue is excited to be playing the same character she played forty-eight years ago.
Tamara Melnick (Ruth Condomine)
Tamara Melnick is thrilled to be celebrating the anniversary of her fourth year with the Georgetown Theater Workshop. She has been in love with the world of theater since she was a young girl. She starred in many shows at the Amesbury Playhouse and has recently connected with the Actors Studio in Newburyport. Her most memorable shows include: Steel Magnolias, Mouse Trap, Tobacco Road, Brighton Beach Memoirs, and Lost in Yonkers. She studied "Social Change through Theater" and one day hopes to open a community center for inner city youth that would like to pursue the theater arts. She credits her family and friends for all of their love and support throughout the years.
Bill Foley (Charles Condomine)
For the last nine years, Bill has travelled extensively all over New England performing music for seniors and the elderly at assisted living/nursing facilities, rehabilitation homes, senior centers and adult day facilities. This is his second foray with GTW having appeared as Shepard Henderson in their recent production of Bell, Book & Candle.
Andrew Calvagno (Dr. Bradman)
Although Andrew is brand new to GTW, he is no stranger to the performing arts. Working as a birthday clown, two semesters of theater at North shore Community College, pit musician/Rock star and doing stand-up comedy around this great city of Boston, you can say he knows his stuff! If you ask Andrew where he finds his element, he’ll tell you it's on stage. There's no question. But without YOU, the audience, there's no reason to do this. Andrew and the rest of the cast thank you Sincerely
Amy Nelson (Mrs. Bradman)
Amy is really quite excited to join the talented and dedicated cast and crew in her first production with GTW. You may have seen her in local musicals, dinner theater and cabarets produced by Acting Out!, Pentucket Players and Spotlight Playhouse. Her most notable role would be Eulalie Shinn in Spotlight Playhouse’s The Music Man, where coincidentally, her husband is also named George and in much need of their wives’ management. Amy is a scientist at the environmental engineering firm Anchor QEA in Amesbury and lives in Bradford with her husband and their two children. She is ever thankful to her family for supporting her creative and numerous extracurriculars
Mary Ella Feinleib (Madame Arcati)
Mary Ella was delighted to play homicidal Aunt Abby in GTW’s production of Arsenic and Old Lace, a 65-year-old nymphomaniac in GTW’s They Came Two by Two, and a geriatric fur thief in Breath of Spring. She also played a doddering old lady who gets bumped off in GTW’s A Murder is Announced. Over half a century ago, Mary Ella played Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Mama in the Pennsylvania Dutch comedy, Papa is All. More recently, she performed a monologue as a Mother Superior giving a lecture on sex. Mary Ella also “performed” for large audiences of pre-medical students at Tufts University, where she was a professor and a dean. Now, in her dotage, she works as a travel agent and travels to exotic destinations.
Nancy Fichera (Elvira)
Nancy is happy to be working with this fabulous cast! She has been doing theater for over 20 years, learning the ropes from many shows at the Amesbury Playhouse. Some of her favorite shows are DIARY OF ANNE FRANK, STEEL MAGNOLIAS, and PLAZA SUITE right here at GTW. She also was lucky enough to perform in the interactive show WICKED REAL HOUSEWIVES OF THE MOB BOSTON. Theater and the wonderful people associated with it have made some of the most amazing friends, moments and memories. Nancy considers herself blessed to be among these talented performers, and hopes you enjoy this wonderful, witty show!
