Renee Heusser (Olive Madison)
Renee has been with the GTW for 23 years now and has played a myriad of roles, done lights, and sound, stage managing, and directing. Some of her favorite roles have been Ouiser in Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling, Agatha in All Because of Agatha by Jonathan Troy, and her five roles in Greater Tuna by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, and Ed Howard. Renee is very lucky to be doing what she loves for work as an assistant clinic director of a mental health clinic and director of a psychiatric day treatment program for adults with chronic mental illness. She would like to thank her family and friends for their unwavering love and support.
Beverly Marzioli (Florence Unger)
Beverly is excited to be playing Florence, having appeared as Vera almost 30 years ago down the road at Gio's. She was seen with GTW last season as Judge Royale Been in Sandbag Stage Left and Mitzi in A Murder is Announced. Her over 40 years of performing include 25 years in local dinner theatres. Favorite roles include Yente in Fiddler on the Roof, Lucia in Never Get Smart With an Angel, Aunt Eller in Oklahoma!, Cookie in Rumors and Mammy in L'il Abner. Beverly has played everything from historical figures to cartoon characters and is happy to add Florence to her cast of characters.
Amy Joy Laffin (Sylvie)
Amy has been acting both professionally and in community theatre settings for 20 years and is happy to make her GTW debut. Favorite past roles of hers include; Hotspur in THE HENRIAD and Benvolio in ROMEO AND JULIET with Striving Artists Theatre Company, Cassius in JULIUS CAESAR and Titania/Hippolyta in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM with Atlantis Playmakers, and Cronkitus in BOB FOR GOD with Molehill Productions. Amy is one half of the production company, Lafeaux Productions, where she is a cast member/producer of the web series BEYOND THE ELABORATE GLANCE. Amy would like to thank her husband, Wayne and daughter, Willow for their love and support and Eva and the cast of TOC for all the laughs!
Nikole Furlotte (Mickey)
Nikole is happy to be appearing in her first production with GTW, She previously was the Stage Manager for their production of Tuna Christmas in December and had a blast. Nikole was SM for lots of shows at Home Made Theater in Saratoga Springs, NY. Among her favorites were Spelling Bee and Noises Off. Nikole last acted in college when she graduated from Acadia University with a theatre arts degree. Nikole would like to thank her wife Meg for all her support during the show and her amazing work on the set!
Cathy Hersh (Renee)
Cathy was born and raised in the D.C. area. She was in youth productions such as Where the Wild Things Are and high school plays like Lanford Wilson's Rimers of Eldritch. College productions included Gilbert and Sullivan, Greek tragedy and original works of dubious quality by New Orleans playwrights. In Massachusetts, she's done Moliere, M*A*S*H, mysteries and Maine accents. She works for Alexa.
Gael Nappa (Vera)
Gael was looking for a use for her degree in Dramatic Arts when she joined Georgetown Theatre Workshop in 1986. Since then, she has performed in, worked backstage on, produced and directed plays with the GTW, sitting out only 2 productions in 30 years. She has lured most of her family and friends to perform or assist, and loves the opportunity to work with her kids. Her favorite play was Sisters Rosensweig by Wasserstein, in which she was able to play a romantic lead opposite her late husband, Ken. In Seniors of the Sahara by Barbara Pease Weber, she performed a belly dance, which was… memorable. In her real life, Gael recently retired from being a children’s librarian for 20 years.
Michael Molineaux (Manolo Costazuela)
Michael has been involved in theatre for over twenty years. Previous acting roles include Frank Burns M.A.S.H., Oberon A Mid Summer Night's Dream, Antipholus of Syracuse Comedy of Errors, George Upon A Time, and Brick Cat On A Hot Tin Roof. Michael has also written and produced original works for the stage including Cynthia's Big Dream, The Countess of Snowdown, Amy Lovejoy, and Stuff TV. Michael is also the creator, writer and co-producer of the web series Beyond The Elaborate Glance (Catch it on Youtube). He holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts with Concentrations in English and Theater Arts.
Paul Gallant (Jesus Costazuela)
Paul has been performing with the Amesbury Playhouse for 20 years. His favorite roles are Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls, Pappy Yokem in Lil Abner, Ernie in Rumors, and The Indian in Fantastics. He also is involved in interactive dinner theatre such as The Wake of Matty O Malley, Jimmy and Jennys Country Wedding, and Joey and Maria’s Italian Wedding . Paul is excited to be among this talented cast. So sit back, relax, and don't forget to laugh, because we love it when you do.
