This is Kristi's third year as the Theater Director at The University School and she feels so blessed and excited to help bring this classic story to the stage. Kristi loves her University School team (Greg, Mikey and Avery) and her students tremendously and is so thankful for the partnership with Chris, Megan, Thom, and the rest of the Funky Family. Kristi has been dancing since she was three years old and has choreographed, produced, and directed many shows. Some of her favorites include SCROOGE, UNCLE PHIL'S DINER, JUST BREATHE, SEUSSICAL, SHREK, TARZAN, ELF, and THE MUSIC MAN. She would like to thank God for his many blessings and her wonderful husband and four boys for all of their love and support. Love you more.
Director / Set DesignCHRIS MEDINA
Chris is the Founding Artistic Director of Funky and is beyond thrilled to share some theatre with the community. Medina loves acting and directing and designing and producing and working with kids!! Some of his favorite roles have been in productions like HARVEY, IN A DARK DARK HOUSE, KIMBERLY AKIMBO, MacHAMLET, THE NERD, THE LITTLE PRINCE and MAID TO ORDER. He recently completed his first musical with Sunrise Players as George in A WONDERFUL LIFE: THE MUSICAL. Some of his favorite shows that he has directed include DOG SEES GOD, HELLCAB, MATT & BEN, MARY POPPINS, STEEL MAGNOLIAS and FOR COLORED GIRLS. He is also the Resident Director for the summer musical program Jr. Woodland Players, which serves the youth of Teller County and some kiddos of the Springs. He holds a BA in Visual & Performing Arts from UCCS and is taking a break from his MA in Theatre Education at UNC. None of the above would not be even remotely possible without his amazing, beautiful, supportive and rock star wife!

Greg is a Funky Company Member and is well Funkified by now! You might have heard his sounds this fall in KIMBERLY AKIMBO and THE BOYS NEXT DOOR, or seen him as Lloyd in RECKLESS. Greg appreciates the great team at Funky and is looking forward to the great shows next year!
Thom is a Funky Company Member and is very grateful and thrilled to have been a part of this Wonderful show. Heehaw! He would like to thank you very much for coming to support local theater and take part in this collaborative community holiday celebration! He would like to thank both his Funky family and the Dygert family for literally everything, and loves you all. Keep those bells ringing!
Assistant DirectorMichael Jeffries
Mikey is an assistant director at The University School and teaches theater in several classes. He has acted all through high school at the Academy of Christian Theater in Kansas City, MO and in which earned several lead roles including: Peter in NARNIA, Lumiere in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and Prince Christopher in CINDERELLA. These several years at USCO have been a blessing to him and hopefully to the audiences of the school’s shows as well.

Meg is a Funky Company Member and plans on never leaving her Funky Family. Meg sends a big old thank you to Kristi and Greg for their passion for the creation and collaboration of theatre. Assistant Stage ManagerCAITLIN ANDERSON
Caitlin is excited to be working both backstage and onstage for this wonderful show. She graduated from USCO last year, working as stage crew for their productions of Elf the Musical and The Music Man. Caitlin joined the Funky family this summer through 24SEVEN and Reckless. She is looking forward to working on more productions with Chris and Kristi.

Connor is excited for his third production at Funky. He graduated the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in October. He has been involved with theater for 5 years now and continues to grow every day! He has also been involved in audio related production for 7 years and he hopes to find a career doing audio engineering full time!
Sound DesignWILL SOBOLIK
Will is ecstatic to be involved in one of his favorite Christmas classics "It's a Wonderful Life". His previous work with Funky has mainly involved sound design, directing, and, on-occation, acting, as seen in Funky's production of KIMBERLY AKIMBO. He's so proud to be a part of such a hard-working and dedicated team and is grateful for the opportunity to help bring smiles to the faces of theater go-ers this holiday season. Props DesignTierra Izzo
Tierra is a deviser/performer, dramaturg, and entrepreneur. She trained as a performer at Emerson College, Boston, MA. She graduated with distinction with an MA in Advanced Theatre Practice from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London (2014/15) where she devised and created Cumulus (Prague Quadrennial Festival of Space & Design), Performance A: CAGE (Imp Fest, Hornsey Town Hall), and When You Were Born A Storm Rolled In (Saturday Live, Bank Street Arts). She continues to pursue her own creative practice exploring the experimental performance practice live-construction and as co-founder and creator of the five-star rated SoCo Escape Room.

Shae has been in multiple productions such as Seussical the Musical (Sour Kangaroo) and The Music Man (Mrs. Squires). She loves to sing, dance, and act. She loves performing and wants to be on Broadway one day.
