Come join Funky for fourth show of Season Five with their holiday show, IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE! Funky partners with The University School for a double undertaking of Frank Capra's classic film. Join our student production from Dec 6-9 and then Funky's adult and child company takes over for the next two weeks until Dec 23. 

STUDENT PRODUCTION: Dec 6 @ 6:30pm, Dec 7 @ 7pm, Dec 8 @ 2pm & 7pm, and Dec 9 @ 2pm. Tickets: $12 and $6 for kids.

FUNKY PRODUCTION: Dec 14 @ 7:30pm, Dec 15 @ 7:30pm, Dec 16 @ 2pm, Dec 20 @ 7:30pm, Dec 21 @ 7:30pm, Dec 22 @ 7:30pm, and Dec 23 @ 2pm. Tickets: $19 and $15 on Thursday.

In our American culture, IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE has become almost as familiar as Dickens' A Christmas Carol. The story is a natural for a stage adaptation: the saga of George Bailey, the Everyman from the small town of Bedford Falls, whose dreams of escape and adventure have been quashed by family obligation and civic duty, whose guardian angel has to descent on Christmas Eve to save him from despair and to remind him—by showing him what the world would have been like had he never been born—that has been, after all, a wonderful life. This faithful adaptation has all your favorite characters: George Bailey and Mary Hatch, Clarence, Uncle Billy, Violet, and, of course, the Scrooge-like villain, Mr. Potter. This fine dramatization not only celebrates the faith of the season, it also celebrates the American philosophy of life: hard work, fair play and the love and support of one's family and community will be rewarded.
