Caitlin Chapa (as Lucy Burns)
Caitlin is beyond thrilled to make her Echo Theatre debut in It's My Party! A Dallas native, Caitlin earned her BFA in Acting from Southern Methodist University and has been seen at theatres across the metroplex including: Casa Mañana, Lily & Joan, Mainstage Irving, Lyric Stage, Proper Hijinx, North Texas Rep, The Firehouse Theatre, and Bass Hall. She sends love and gratitude to Jon, her family, and the amazing team at Echo for telling such an important story!
Bwalya Chisanga (as Winifred Mallon)
Bwalya is thrilled to be a part of this vivacious ensemble! She was last seen live as the boisterous lesbian, Shayla in Cooties with Flexible Grey Theatre Company/Uptown players. Other credits include: Amphibians (Simone) in Kitchen Dog Theater's New Works Festival, A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Snout/Moth) at Lily & Joan Theatre Company, and Everybody (Somebody) at Stage West Theatre. Another favorite company is Dallas Children’s Theater. She thanks her family and friends for their continued patience, love and support. She wants to thank the production team for this gracious opportunity and the cast and crew for being welcoming!
Megan Haratine (as Carrie Chapman Catt)
Megan is honored to celebrate Women's Suffrage Centennial with Echo Theatre and this dynamic company of women. Before pandemic life, she was most recently seen onstage in Fort Worth, Texas at Stage West in Ada & the Engine, Everybody & R&J Abridged and in Babette's Feast at Amphibian Stage Productions. With an MFA from the University of Delaware's PTTP, she is an Adjunct Professor of Theatre at UTA & TCC SE and serves as the current Texas Chair for KCACTF Region 6. Lindsay Hayward (as Dora Lewis)
Lindsay's North Texas regional credits include Uptown Players, Teatro Dallas, Circle Theatre, Shakespeare Dallas, Theatre Three, Dallas Children’s Theatre, The Firehouse Theatre, Mainstage ILC, Resolute Theatre Project, and Theatre Arlington. Further credits include Boarshead Theatre (MI), Appel Farm Arts Centre (NJ), Ashcroft Theatre (UK), Tricycle Studio (UK), and the Baxter Theatre (SA). A Dramatists Guild member, and Kennedy Center Playwright Intensive Alumni, Hayward’s written material has appeared with Kitchen Dog Theatre, Our Productions, IMPRINT Theatreworks, Noveau 47 Theatre, Goat Song Theatre Collective, Audacity Theatrelab, Theatre ITC, and Rover Dramawerks. Hayward is the recipient of a DFW Critic Choice Award and several Column Awards.
Kat Lozano (as Alice Paul)
Kat is thrilled to be working with Echo Theatre on It’s My Party! Previous theatrical credits include Queen of Basel (Kitchen Dog Theater), Pride and Prejudice (Shakespeare Dallas), Dracula (Theatre Three), Wolf at the Door (Kitchen Dog Theater), Comedy of Errors (Austin Shakespeare), The Crucible (University of Texas at Austin Theatre and Dance). Film credits include Everything Except Hope Pt. 2 and Bitch’s Tit. Kat has a BFA in Acting from the University of Texas in Austin. She encourages everyone to let their voice be heard and VOTE in November!
Cindee Mayfield (as Dr. Anna Howard Shaw)
Cindee is excited to be returning (virtually) to the Echo stage, having last been seen as Diane in Hurricane Diane by Madeleine George. She has worked extensively throughout the metroplex over the past 40 years. Recent Dallas-Fort Worth credits include Slide By as part of the AT&T Performing Arts Center's Elevator Project 2020, Les Liaisons Dangereuses and Daylight (Theatre 3), Life Sucks (Stage West), and Other Desert Cities (Circle Theatre and Theatre Three). Cindee is represented by Mary Collins Agency.
Leslie Patrick (as Maud Wood Park)
Leslie has worked with many Dallas area theatres as an actor as well as behind the scenes. She has performed in too many Living Black & White productions with Pegasus Theatre to name, but they are all her favorite. Leslie has also worked with Echo Theatre, Circle Theatre, Plano Repertory Theatre, Act I Productions, Theatre 3, Audacity Productions, Uptown Players, and The Bathhouse Theatre Collective. Some of her favorite roles include 52 Pick-up (Woman), The Collection (Stella), Arsenic & Roses (Katherine), Die Mommy Die! (Edith), Mauritius (Jackie), and Boy Gets Girl (Harriet).
Octavia Y. Thomas (as Ida B. Wells)
Octavia is grateful to join Echo for this timely production. Most recently seen in Pride and Prejudice at Irving Mainstage, A Midsummer Night's Dream with Poor Yorick Productions, Sistas and Obama-ology at Jubilee Theatre, and Men on Boats at Circle Theatre, she is privileged to have performed for a number of theater companies throughout Dallas-Fort Worth – including Echo Theatre, Dallas Children’s Theater, Lyric Stage, Pegasus Theatre, Stage West, and Theatre Arlington. Favorite productions include Let It Be Me, Company, Batboy, Women Playing Hamlet, Showboat, Once on This Island, Little Shop of Horrors, Junie B. Jones, and A Midnight Cry.
