Director
John Schugard
John Schugard (Director) – John's last directing project for DM Performance Works was Urinetown the Musical. He has worked with many companies in NEPA over the years, having directed Flowers for Algernon, Waiting for Godot, How I Learned to Drive, Frost/Nixon, Catch-22, Psychopathia Sexualis, Carrie, Breakfast at Tiffany's and Night of the Living Dead to name just a few. His on stage credits around the area include Vincent, The Mystery of Irma Vep, The Threepenny Opera, Assassins, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest as well as Sherlock Holmes and the Scarlet Avenger and Mamma Mia! right here on the Factory stage. Recently he has become a playwright, and his short plays The Living Element and Fun with Richard and Jane have been performed at Diva Theater in Scranton. He listens to metal and watches auto racing to maintain his sanity; sometimes it works. Most importantly, he would like extend special thanks to his wonderful kitty, without whom he would have retired from theater years ago.

Choreographer
Donna Vojtek
Donna Vojtek (Choreographer) is thrilled to be involved with bringing Evil Dead: The Musical to NEPA. Donna was last seen at DMPW as Alice Carpenter in Sherlock Holmes and the Scarlet Avenger and as Thelma in The Farndale Avenue Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society’s Production of Macbeth. She has been an avid tap dancer since the age of seven and studied dance with the Kelly School of Dance, the Mountain Top Dance Academy, and the Joan Harris Centre. Other choreography credits include The Producers, The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!), The Adding Machine, and both Farndale Avenue…Christmas Carol and Farndale Avenue…Macbeth. Donna sheepishly admits she is not a horror fan, but has portrayed Barbara in Night of the Living Dead, various characters in Clive Barker’s The History of the Devil, and volunteers at Gravestone Manor (a theatrical haunted house in Wilkes-Barre). Donna would like to thank the DMPW staff for having the guts to produce Evil Dead and this phenomenal cast and crew!
