About We Will Rock You
WE WILL ROCK YOU tells the story of a globalized future without musical instruments. The jukebox rock musical ties together many of the iconic songs of the British rock band Queen with a story and script by Ben Elton.
WWRY is about a group of young Bohemians who struggle against the all-powerful Globalsoft company to restore the free exchange of thought, fashion, and live music in a distant future where everyone dresses, thinks and acts the same. In this world, musical instruments and composers are forbidden, and rock music is unknown or hilariously misunderstood. There are lots of sly references to classic rock lyrics that fans of all ages can appreciate and the well-known tunes of Queen rock the house until the final note.
Since 2002 over 15 million theatregoers in 17 countries have been thrilled by this awe-inspiring and hilarious futurist comedy that is based around more than 24 of Queen’s biggest hit songs including We Are The Champions, Radio Ga Ga, I Want To Break Free, Somebody To Love, Killer Queen, Under Pressure, Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites The Dust and of course, We Will Rock You.
Be a part of what Ben Elton said, "eventually becomes a rock concert!"

Yes you may but a wonderful alternative that our performers absolutely love and one that truly supports the theatre company is purchasing a flower and/or candy treat with a card to be sent to your performer with a special message. The kids love hearing their names being announced when we bring the flower/candy grams back stage to them and ALL proceeds go to DHTC!
WHERE DO I GET MY TICKETS THAT I PURCHASE ONLINE?
Tickets online may be picked up in the will call line at DHS on the evening or afternoon of the performance. There will be a line
for purchasing tickets (if we don't sell out as we did our last performance), one for entering with tickets in hand, as well as one for
will call tickets purchased on line or on the telephone. Please give your digital ticket purchase confirmation to the ticket box to pick up your old style physical tickets. Cell service is not very good inside DHS so we recommend printing out your email confirmation beforehand. Seating is first come first serve.

through hard work, dedication, concession proceeds, Program/Playbill Ads, and ticket sales.
Funds raised by the DHTC help defray costs for:
Production rights for each play, scripts, music scores, set construction, lumber, paint and materials, tools, costume rental and
purchase, lighting, microphones, sound, orchestra, etc.
Because we are a school based program, your support is entirely tax deductible under the U.S. tax code and your efforts go to
supporting a program that gives students an opportunity to explore the amazing world of the theatre.
