Beauty and the Beast, Jr. is an hour-long production featuring the classic songs from the film and Broadway production. ConVal District students from incoming 5th graders through 2016 graduates from across the district come together to present this "tale as old as time" and the 3rd Annual Summer Academy production!

Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Jr. is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.

The ConVal High School Drama department is co-produced by Elizabeth Mueller and Liz Halper. Each season features a musical, a play, a student-directed festival, student-directed play and an entry into the New Hampshire Educational Theatre Festival. Both ConVal High School faculty and community members direct a series of productions and workshops throughout the season. Student leaders in the International Thespian Society #7883 support the season through student-led crews and other theatrical events and activities.
