Emma Palzere-Rae (Harriet Beecher-Stowe)
Emma Palzere-Rae (actress, playwright, director and producer) founded Be Well Productions in 1989 to focus on the healing power of the theater. The inaugural production was “The Belle of Amherst”, a play about Emily Dickinson by William Luce. Her subsequent original one-woman plays include “The Woodhull Project”, “Live from the Milky Way, It’s Gilda Radner!”, and “Aunt Hattie’s House”. Recent stage roles include Mother Miriam in “Agnes of God” (Madison Lyric Stage), Essie Miller in “Ah, Wilderness!” (East Lynne Theater Company), Sister Aloysius in “Doubt” (Emerson Theater Collaborative). At Mystic Seaport she has co-directed and performed in Lantern Light Tours and Nautical Nightmares. She is co-founder of The Way of the Labyrinth Playwrights Retreat and the former Artistic Director of Plays for Living (NYC). She is a proud member of Actors Equity Association and the Dramatists Guild, where she is the regional rep for New England-West.
Anne Pasquale (Nellie Bly)
Anne Pasquale (actress & playwright), a member of The Actors Studio, trained at LAMDA and the New York School of the Arts and served as Arts-in-Education Director for Accidental Repertory Theatre. Ms. Pasquale creates and tours her repertoire of Living History Programs for audiences of all ages in venues along the east coast. New York stage credits include New Dramatists’ Three Sisters, Lincoln Center's A View from the Bridge, Martha in Virginia Wolf, Serafina in Tennessee Williams: The Writer and His World, Emma Goldman and Kristina Linde in Variations on a Dolls House, and Judith Keith, The Jewish Wife, in Brecht on Brecht. She is the recipient of the 2015 Broadway World Rhode Island Best Writer and Best Performer awards for her solo show, BOB.
Constance Winston (Harriet Tubman)
Connie Winston is a New York City-based performance artist. She is the producer of Down on Griffin Alley, co-written with Jean Randich and presented at Dixon Place in New York City in March 2017. Down on Griffin Alley was originally conceived with filmmaker, Joey Huertas, and produced and presented as On Griffin Alley: A Recreation of the Life, Trial and Execution of Lena Baker in 2014. Connie received her MFA in dramaturgy from the University of Iowa, an MA in performing arts from Emerson College and a BA in theatre (with a concentration in acting and directing) from SUNY/New Paltz. Her latest project was American Captives: Lena Baker & Sandra Bland, an Official Selection for the 10th Annual United Solo Theatre Festival presented in October 2019 on Theatre Row, and for which she received United Solo’s “Best Actress” for 2019. Occasionally, Connie may be seen on late night re-runs of Law & Order (the original) and less so on Conviction, in her recurring role as Judge Shirley Taylor.
