About The STEM GIRLS

Travel through time with intrepid reporter Nellie Bly (Anne Pasquale) as she interviews Bessie Coleman, (Tammy Denease) the First Negro Aviatrix, whose journey began in the segregated south of the United States, where cotton was king and Jim Crow ruled underneath white sheets, and triumphantly landed her in in Paris, France.,

Next, Nellie moves forward in time to the early 2000's to interview Hedy Lamarr, (Heather Massie) glamorous siren of the silver screen, who was more than the ‘Most Beautiful Woman in the World’. She invented Frequency Hopping and Spread Spectrum Technology which make the world of wireless communication tick. From Austria to Hollywood, WWII, torpedoes, ecstasy, and intrigue to the very cell phone in your pocket, she was there, AND YOU WILL BE TOO!

Based on the plays Bessie Coleman and HEDY! The Life & Inventions of Hedy Lamarr the concept was created by Anne Pasquale (An Evening with Nellie Bly).
