About Clark Youth Theatre's Penguin Project Celebration of the First Five Years

Clark Youth Theatre is honored to have been the 7th replication of the Penguin Project nationwide, and has LOVED producing fully staged musicals for our Penguins and Artists since early 2016!  In this crazy year of COVID-19, our Penguin families have been especially flexible, rehearsing online,  outdoors on the tennis courts in the park surrounding Clark Youth Theatre, and indoors, fully masked with COVID restrictions in place.  It is no surprise to anyone involved that our Penguins are resilient and SOARING despite our schedules and routines being changed!  We rejoice with all our Penguin Artists and Mentors at what they have accomplished both online and in person, never being fully sure that they would be able to perform this season, but forming friendship and learning their numbers for the sheer joy of the process!  Because of this uncertainty, Clark Youth Theatre's Penguin Production Team chose to celebrate the great successes of the first five years of our program at Clark, and perform a highlight reel of many of our bright moments from previous productions in lieu of a full production this year - and what has resulted is just as full of joy, fun, and amazing musical moments as any previous production!  Additionally, we are offering both socially distanced seating AND a livestream option for those who live out of town or just aren't ready to sit in a theatre.  Whichever way you join us to celebrate our first five years of the Penguin Project at Clark Youth Theatre, sit back and enjoy the show!

Clark Youth Theatre Incorporated

Clark Youth Theatre, Tulsa’s longest running educational youth arts program, is now in its 42nd year of providing Tulsa with high-quality youth community theatre. Clark Youth Theatre’s award-winning programs teach more than performing art skills. Children learn respect for others, self-confidence, and self-discipline. They learn from constructive feedback and are better able to recognize their own strengths and weaknesses. Children discover ways of improving and working towards new challenges, whatever they may be, whether academic, social, or personal, with confidence. Clark’s mission is to cultivate future leaders through theatre. The youth arts program offers a full season of main stage productions, improvisational theatre and acting classes, and camps. Summer Camp Enrollment  is OPEN NOW!  www.clarkyouththeatre.com/education/camps/  Youth ages 8-18 can participate and all skill levels are welcome.
