Sparkle 2021 "All Grown Up" SENIORS

Megan Baczynski (Soprano 1--Section Leader)
I have been in showchoir for all 4 years of high school plus 2 years of middle school. I have also been a part of the musicals for 6 years. One of the best parts is being able to meet so many amazing people and make lifelong friends. My favorite memory from show choir is when Emily, Isaac, Claire, Jamie, and I would go back to my house and play just dance after every competition. I want to thank Mrs. Macklin for convincing me to stay in show choir and for always being like a second mom to me by helping me be the best singer I could, Mr. Macklin (Steve) for always joking around with me, my parents for always pushing me to be the best I can be, Isaac for always being my best friend and dance partner, and to the whole show choir family for making my last four years amazing.
Tayler Blair (Alto)
I've been in showchoir all 4 years along with 2 years in middle school. I also have done theatre all 4 years. The best part of showchoir is that I have made a TON of new friends and it warms my heart to know how big of a family we are. My future plans are going to Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin and major in Nursing while minoring in Criminal Justice. I want to thank Mrs. Macklin for always pushing me to do greater and to help me with my fear of singing by myself and my stage fright. I also want to thank Brenna for being my best friend since preschool and for dealing with me! Faith, I want to thank you for being my friend and going to Prom with me and hanging out with me. Trinity, you’ll always be my favorite wifey and I will make sure I try to annoy you as much as I can while I’m at college. And finally, the show choir for always being there for me and being my family.
Jordynn Blair (Stage Crew)
I have been on the tech crew for 4 years and have also been on the tech crew for the theatre department for 3 years running lights and sound. The best part of being a part of this was just being there for my sister. I would like to become a graphic artist. I would like to thank my sister Tayler for talking me into joining tech crew and making the experience enjoyable!
Jaiden Grote (Alto--Section Leader)
I have been a part of BG's for 3 years and the musicals for 4 years. I plan to spend my days baking pies and going to Ivy Tech community college. Some of my favorite memories are practicing the girls number Junior year in the lunchroom with no air conditioning because the school was still under remodel, getting a hairbrush stuck in Riley’s hair, sitting with Riley and Audria every bus ride, singing sea shanties on the bus ride home, and playing the Grinch in the Christmas program. Thank you to all the friends that made show choir worth it, Thank you to Mrs. Macklin for keeping the Brave Generation afloat. Shout out to Clifton, Brooklyn, Isaac, and Keith who showed up to every one of my competitions, and the most wonderful supportive family I can ask for I love you all so much!
Faith Habegger (Soprano 2--Section Leader)
I have been a member of BG's for 3 years and the theatre for 4 years. One of my favorite memories was when I got lifted in the ballad in our “Business as Usual” show my junior year. That was so much fun and special to me. My other favorite memory was when I was a sophomore, we all took a weekend trip to Sheridan High School and competed with our “Sugar Rush” show. We made so many memories on that trip that I will always hold close to my heart. I will be attending Ball State University in the fall to major in Speech-Language Pathology. I would like to thank my mom and Andy for being my biggest supporters, my grandma Ruble for always cheering us on, Mr. and Mrs. Macklin for making showchoir so enjoyable and lastly, everyone is showchoir...you all hold a special place in my heart and you will forever. Thank you!
Abbigail Juengel (Soprano 1--Dance Captain)
I have been a member of showchoir for 6 years, 4 in high school and 2 in middle school. I have also done 4 years of musicals. I plan to attend college in the fall. My favorite memory from show choir is when everyone in the audience would start singing while waiting for the next group to perform. I would like to thank my family and friends for always supporting me.
Shyanne Pritchard (Soprano 2/Alto)
I have been a singer /dancer for 2 years and on the tech crew for 1 year. I have also been in the musicals for 4 years. One of the best parts of showchoir is just simply going to the competitions. The other great part of this group is that everyone is able to be who they truly are and not someone they are not. After college I plan on exploring the world. Then I'll find a job somewhere and maybe have a family later in life. Thanks to Mrs. Macklin for when I have had some tough times in life. Basically just being there for me whenever I needed her, she is like the mom of the BG’s that is what makes her special. Yes she is hard on us all sometimes but, that is because she wants us to work really hard. Anyways thank you again Mrs. Macklin you are a very good second mom to the BG’s. Also everyone in BG’s thank you for making it fun.
Joey Stuckey (Baritone/Bass)
I have been a part of BG's for 3 years, and I did the musicals for 2 years.
Brenna Willoughby (Soprano 1)
I have been a member of the Brave Generation for 4 years along with participating in the musicals for 4 years. Some of my favorite memories was the overnight competition at Sheridan and also just watching all the other groups and being around everybody I love! Next year, I will be attending Grace College for Early Education and will be on the cheer team. I would like to give shout outs to Tayler for being with me for all 4 years, Faith for just being there through everything, Megan for always joking around with me at comps, and lastly my parents for letting me do what I love and always supporting me in everything me do!
