David Lee
David Lee has served as the Artistic Director at Avenue Arts Marketplace and Theatre since the conception of the theatre company in 2017. He has had the pleasure of working with a diverse group of actors including youngsters as the Director of the young actors workshop each fall and spring. Some of his favorite shows with the the Junior class are “Annie JR”, “Willy Wonka JR”and “Shrek JR”. David also understands the importance in the development of new works and has formed a company of actors called “Underground” that preforms staged readings of new works. David is a Canton, Ohio native and attended Malone University where he was trained in the Michael Chekhov Technique of acting and revived and B.A. in Communication, Visual and Preforming Arts.

Emily HIsey
Emily Hisey has loved theatre since she was chosen to play the coveted role of Twinkle the Christmas Angel at age nine - she’s been escaping reality ever since. Past stage credits include Jane Eyre, Dancing at Lughnasa, Doubt, and A Year With Frog and Toad. Abby is currently 31 years old and resides in Akron, Ohio where she works as an administrative assistant. Previous stage credits include MY MOTHER****** COLLEGE LIFE (Student Ensemble), FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (Avram) and GUYS & DOLLS (Harry the Horse). Abby would like to thank David and Jared for giving life to the performing arts world.

Racquel Dillard
Racquel is a current student at Stark State College and works as an Office Assistant at Stark State’s Downtown Canton Office. Previously, Racquel has graced the stage with her talents in productions including THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME (Choir), GUYS & DOLLS (Adelaide), HELLO, DOLLY (Ensemble) and HOUSE OF FRANKENSTEIN (Countess Ilonka). Racquel is always striving to be a “Jill Of All Trades” as a mom of two fantastic teenagers, Bella and Donnie and as a wife to Mark

James Caputo (Playright)

Jim’s plays have won many competitions including: The Ashland Oregon New Play Festival, The Mountain Playhouse Contest, The Fusion Theatre Seven (Audience Award), The Theatre Oxford Competition (First Prize), The Palm Springs International Festival (First Prize) and The New York Public Television Competition, which produced and distributed his work to public television stations across the country. He was a top ten in the 2015 Riva Schiner Comedy Award.


His plays have been produced from New York City to Hollywood with many stops in between. Jim lives in San Diego. He is an actor, director, playwright and a member of the Dramatists Guild.
