Stacey Bonds (Queen Aggravain)
Stacey Bonds is excited to performing again with Artistic Synergy of Baltimore. Her last production here was “Nunsense 2” where she played Sister Mary Robert Ann. She loves playing over the top woman, some of her favorite past roles include; Tracy Turnblad in “Hairspray”, Ursula in “The Little Mermaid”, and The Wicked Witch of the West in “The Wizard of Oz”. Thank you to the cast and crew for all their hard work.
Madi Anne Cosden (Pantomime Dancer - Queen)
Madi Anne Cosden was happy to jump on board for this show. She has been seen in “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown,” “Aladdin,” “Seussical,” “Willy Wonka,” “Shrek,” “Snow White,” and “Charlotte’s Web.” She also dances with Denise Winter’s Rosedale Dance (DWRD). In her spare time, she enjoys playing ukulele and watching Parks & Rec.
Stacey Cosden (Lady Lucille)
Stacey Cosden is excited to return to the stage for her 2nd show with ASoB. She has been seen in “Clue: The Musical”, and “A Raisin in the Sun.” She has been behind the scenes as a director with CCC ArtBeat. By day she is a wife, a mom of two theatre kids, an elementary school secretary and PTA President. She also enjoys being a student ministry leader and reading. Thanks to the cast and crew! Break all the legs y’all!
Mike DeNicolis (Sir Michael)
Mike DeNicolis is happy to perform in Once Upon A Mattress, which is his 14th show overall, and his 11th show with Artistic Synergy of Baltimore. His previous shows here were “Oklahoma!” as Ike Skidmore, “Scrooge!” playing various parts, “Bye Bye Birdie” as a Shriner and Harvey Johnson, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” as Judah, and “Harvey” where I played the right hand man of Doctor Chumley. He'd like to thank the cast and crew. He’s had a great time with this team and definitely hopes to work with them all again.
James Fitzpatrick (Minstrel)
James Fitzpatrick is extremely pleased to be returning to ASoB to play this role in “Once Upon A Mattress,” his 4th production here. Most recently he played the roles of Ebeneezer Scrooge in “Scrooge: The Musical,” and Don Pedro in “Much Ado About Nothing.” No stranger to the stage, Jim has appeared in over 100 productions in various local theatres. He hopes that you, our audiences, enjoy this fun show and he send much love to his family; Jaime, Debra, Chuck, Colton, & Aubree.
Maggie Flannigan (Lady Rowena / Nightingale)
Maggie Flanigan is thrilled to make her debut with ASoB. She was seen most recently in TWP “Jekyll and Hyde.” She has been active in the theatre community in Baltimore for the past three years, working primarily with TWP and CCP. She can be seen next in “The Rocky Horror Show” with the Hot Patooties later this October.
Emma Hawthorn (King Sextimus)
Emma Hawthorn is delighted to return to the place where her community theatre journey began, ASoB. Since then she has enjoyed her role as SM, Props Mistress and Actor in mulitple shows, “Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” at ASoB, “Heathers the Musical” at HDYLMN and “Jesus Christ Superstar” at TWP. Emma considers it a privilege to work with this brilliant cast and crew. Thank you Bill! Break legs!

Allison Kenyon (Lady Merrill)
Allison Kenyon is thrilled to work with ASoB for the first time. This is the first time she has returned to the stage in over 7 years and is very excited to be making her return to the stage with this talented cast! By day Allison is a nurse, and is finishing her BSN at Towson University. She enjoys traveling, hiking, and now performing with her husband. Break legs, everyone!
Wesley Kenyon (Sir Harry)
Wesley Kenyon is delighted to be making his debut with ASoB after an almost eleven year break from theatre. When not on stage playing a narcissistic jerk, he might be immersed in the latest board game, on a plane with his wife to somewhere new, or occasionally working as an engineer. He would like to thank his wife for not taking him too seriously when trying to get in character at home.
H. Ray Lawson (Sir Luce)
H. Ray Lawson returns to Artistic Synergy of Baltimore after directing “Oklahoma!” in March. Ray most recently performed as James Wilson in “1776” and “Chess the Musical.” He is an accomplished Director, Stage Manager, and performer in Baltimore, Harford, and Cecil Counties. Ray has taught youth theater for ten years. Some favorite shows to have directed are, “Auntie Mame”, “Wizard of Oz”, “Merrily We Roll Along”, and “Once Upon a Mattress”. He has also performed in many shows. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Cockpit in Court. By day Ray is an accountant. Enjoy the show!!!!!!!
Addison Malkowski (Lady Emma / Chambermaid)
Addison Malkowski is thrilled to be in her second show at ASoB. She has appeared in 14 shows overall, including the junior versions of "High School Musical," "My Son Pinocchio," "Best Little Theater in Town," "Bugsy Malone," "James and the Giant Peach," "Aladdin," "Elf," "Willie Wonka," "Dear Edwin," "Into The Woods," and "Xanadu," as well as the recent ASoB production of "You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown." Addison would like to thank everyone who gave her this opportunity.
Kristin Miller (Princess Winnifred)
Kristin Miller would love to say that she is very excited to be returning to ASoB, but the truth is that she is actually terribly timid and horribly shy, so she is suffering from crippling stage fright. She was recently shoved onstage as Ado Annie in “Oklahoma!” at ASoB and as Elaine in “Arsenic and Old Lace” at Cockpit in Court. She thanks Chris for all his “support” in overcoming her fear.
Jim Morgan (Wizard)
Jim Morgan is excited to perform in his second production with ASoB. He previously appeared as Verges (an old man) in “Much Ado About Nothing.” His favorite role included Maurice (an old man) in Suburban Players “Beauty and the Beast.” Jim would like to thank Bill for once again casting him as an old man, the Wizard. Jim would like to thank his wife and family for their support.
Andrew Pedrick (Prince Dauntless)
Andrew Pedrick is excited to be working with ASoB for the first time. Usually he performs with TWP, where he played Simon Stride in "Jekyll & Hyde." When not onstage he performs Karaoke in a local bar. He’s like to thank Bill and ASoB for giving him the chance to perform for these wonderful audiences.
Shelby Pedrick (Lady Mabelle)
Shelby Pedrick is thrilled to be joining the ASoB family! Past theatre credits include “Jekyll & Hyde” as Lady of the Night/Ensemble and “The Music Man” as a Pick-a-little lady with TWP. She is a freshman in college at UMUC while she enjoys spending time with friends, singing, and dancing alongside her theatre friends and family! Special thanks to Sarah Mackin and Erica Bull and to her parents for supporting her through this journey she loves you guys! Hope you enjoy the show, everyone!
Christopher D. Pence (Sir Russell)
Christopher Pence is thrilled to return for his third production with ASoB. A featured actor with ODT, favorite shows include “Much Ado About Nothing” (ASoB & PHS), “Jesus Christ Superstar” (TWP), “The Servant of Two Masters” (SU) and “Lend Me A Tenor” (PHS). Chris would like to thank his family for their unending love and support, as well as his many friends both on and off stage. Break a leg, everyone, and here’s to many more productions!
Patrick J. Rudai (Pantomime Dancer - Prince)
Patrick J. Rudai is a happy wolf Cub Scout in pack 818. He loves soccer, karate and dance. He was recently in Third Wall Production’s “It’s a Wonderful Life” and “The Music Man.” He thanks ASOB for letting him be a King.
Tori Lynne Rudai (Pantomime Dancer - Princess)
Tori Lynne Rudai is a Daisy scout who loves cats, stuffed animals, soccer and dance. She has been recently seen in Third Wall Production’s “It’s a Wonderful Life” and “The Music Man.” She thanks Mr. Bisbee for letting her be a princess.
Brittany Runk (Sir Harold / Kitchen Wench)
Brittany Runk is a senior at Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts. She has been in many productions at Patapsco and this is her second production here at ASoB. She recently appeared as Charlie Brown in "You’re a good Man Charlie Brown," The Bum in "The Wedding Singer," Clinton in "The Liar," and many more. She is very happy to announce that she will be assistant directing "Miracle on 34th Street" alongside the excellent Melissa Fortson and the extravagant Bill Bisbee.
Mel Tillery (Jester)
Mel Tillery is excited to return to musical theater and work with ASoB for the first time. Before “Once Upon A Mattress,” Mel was recently in “Wendy, Peter, Peter, Wendy” with Single Carrot Theatre. In addition to acting, Mel enjoys painting, storytelling, and looking under logs to find bugs.
Steven VanBlargan (Sir Humphrey)
Steven VanBlargan is new to acting and excited to be doing his first show with ASoB. Inspired by his children and their love for performing, this is where his journey into theater begins!
MacKenzie Walker (Princess #12 / Lady Beatrice)
Mackenzie Walker is super excited to be in this production. This is her 2nd production with ASOB. She has performed in “The Wedding Singer” as ensemble, in “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” as the Little Red Haired Girl, and with her Improv troupe. She thanks her cast and crew and is excited to keep pursuing her dream of acting through ASOB.
Joe Weinhoffer (Sir Studley)
Joe Weinhoffer is returning to the ASoB stage after appearing as Will Parker in last season’s “Oklahoma!” Joe has been performing in the greater Baltimore area for the past five years; his favorite roles include Professor Harold Hill “The Music Man”, Perchik in “Fiddler on the Roof”, and Rocky in “The Rocky Horror Show”. When not on stage, Joe works as a video game designer for Firaxis. Thanks to his friends and family for their constant support!
