Emma: A Pop Musical Cast

Louisa Davis (Emma)
Louisa is thrilled to be back with ASoB this summer! She was last seen here in YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN (Peggy Jean). While a student at North County High School, Louisa's notable roles were THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW (Knickerbocker), Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID (Chef Louis), and MIDSUMMER/JERSEY (Patty Quince). Louisa is a rising sophomore at Birmingham-Southern College majoring in musical theatre. Louisa is beyond excited to share this show with the audience and is grateful to ASoB for this opportunity! Thank you to friends, family, and teachers for your help and support through the years. Lexie Merrifield (Harriet)
Lexie is excited to be performing in her 3rd show through ASOB. She has played in OKLAHOMA (Ensemble), YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN (5), and now EMMA! A POP MUSICAL (Harriet). I am a freshman at Patapsco in the vocal magnet. This is her 6th show overall and she is honored to play the role of Harriet. A huge thanks to her family and friends for all of their support. Broken legs to the cast of EMMA!
Olivia Winter (Jeff)
Olivia Winter is ecstatic to be in her third production with ASoB. She was previously seen in their productions of CLUE (Miss Scarlett) and BYE BYE BIRDIE (Ursula). Some of her favorite credits include: THE ADDAMS FAMILY (Wednesday) and HEATHERS (Veronica, SUFT); and LEGALLY BLONDE, JR. (Paulette, 7DRC). She would like to thank the crew for allowing her this opportunity to work with some amazing people and her friends and family for their support.
Terrell Chambers (Frankie)
Terrell is making his Artistic Synergy of Baltimore debut in the show EMMA! A POP MUSICAL. Previous works of Terrell include WORKING: A MUSICAL, HAMLET, and FATHER COMES HOME FROM THE WARS PARTS 1, 2, & 3. Terrell is currently a student at CCBC majoring in Theatre (Acting) and he plans on transferring to either Towson University or UMBC to continue his education in the Performing Arts. After college, Terrell plans on becoming a professional actor. Terrell would like to thank his family & friends, amazing cast, and his friendly neighborhood director, Spider-Man.
Katie Sacco (Jane)
Katie Sacco is beyond excited to work with ASoB on this production of EMMA! Previously, she has been seen in ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW, HAIRSPRAY, ARSENIC AND OLD LACE, IN THE HEIGHTS, INTO THE WOODS, and more. Outside of theater, she studies actuarial science at TU and works as a math tutor. To the cast and crew: “Break legs! It’s been a pleasure working with all of you!”
Kyle LaPosta (Phillip)
Kyle LaPosta has been in productions since the age of 6 and found his love for theatre. He is thrilled to be in his third performance with ASOB, His previous shows include BYE BYE BIRDIE and OKLAHOMA. Kyle’s also known for his roles in NEWSIES (TWP), WIZARD OF OZ (TSP), and BEAUTY & THE BEAST (TSP). Some of his favorite roles go back to middle school GJSMS in SEUSSICAL (Horton), YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN (Charlie Brown), and INTO THE WOODS (Baker). Kyle wants to thank his friends and family for supporting him, he can’t wait for everyone to see the show! KEEP OFF OUR HAIR HIGHBURY!
Katy Gendron (Ashley)
Katy Gendron is so excited to be working with ASOB for the first time! She has spent the last seven years doing theatre at Notre Dame Prep in Towson and has been in recent productions such as SISTER ACT, CINDERELLA, EMMA! A POP MUSICAL (again), and ONCE ON THIS ISLAND. She is beyond thrilled to be playing the role of Ashley this time around and wants to thank everyone in the show for making her feel welcome at ASOB. She also wants to thank her mom for sitting in the car during rehearsal until Katy got her license and her dogs for practicing lines with her. Break legs y’all!
Maddie Saldaña (Miss Bates)
Maddie Saldaña is a sophomore at Carnegie Mellon University and is so excited to be a part of this show. She has been in CINDERELLA (Fairy Godmother), SISTER ACT (Mother Superior), ONCE UPON A MATTRESS (the Queen), LEGALLY BLONDE (Delta Nu), and more. She would like to thank Jake, Lydia, Darwin, Lisa, Jillian, Joan, Temple, her family, and the amazing Cast and Crew of EMMA! She would like to thank you for supporting this production. Gabriella Cox (Martin)
Gabriella Cox is sixteen years old and this is her first musical with Artistic Synergy of Baltimore. She has preformed in several musicals before including YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2, BEAUTY & THE BEAST and more. She is very excited to be working with such a talented cast of young actors and a wonderful crew and hopes that everyone breaks a leg!
Shelby Pedrick (Welcome Committee 1)
Shelby is a college student making her second performance with ASoB! She’s been seen in ONCE UPON A MATTRESS (ASoB), JEKYL AND HYDE (TWP), and MUSIC MAN (TWP). She’s happy to be back and would like to thank her friends, family, and her job for their support! Have a wonderful time watching the show! Xoxo
Isabella MacDonald (Welcome Committee 2)
Isabella Macdonald is a rising homeschooled senior in high school and is a math major in the dual enrollment program at CCBC. This is her third show at ASoB and she is SO excited to be back for another show! Isabella's hobbies include stressing about school, making turkey meatballs, and listening to the same songs on repeat. She is very happy to be apart of EMMA! and wants to thank the cast and crew for making such a great show happen!
Michaela Saul (Welcome Committee 3)
Michaela is very excited to be a part of the Welcoming Committee in EMMA! Some of her past roles include: SHREK (Mama Bear) and WEST SIDE STORY (Francisca). She would like to thank Danny, Shemma, Edwin, her family and her dogs for being great throughout this process. She would also like to thank the director and cast, especially the Welcoming Committee (and Katy), for making this show so fun.

Jake Schwartz (Mr. Weston)
Jake Schwartz is a Theater & Communications major at the U of MD. Some of his previous acting credits include THE ADDAMS FAMILY (Lucas Beineke, Stand Up For... Theatre) and EMMA! A POP MUSICAL (Jeff Knightley, NDP). When he's not working on something theater related, Jake is most likely sleeping, eating, or watching a Marvel movie somewhere, he thanks the cast and crew for their hard work and great laughs! He is spiderman!
Bekah Bauer (Ensemble)
Bekah Bauer is excited to be in her first show with Artistic Synergy of Baltimore! She’s appeared in 5+ productions prior, with more to come. Bekah would like to thank everyone who came to see and support the cast. Enjoy the show!!:)
Madison Cosden (Ensemble)
Madison Cosden is excited to be in her fourth show with ASoB. Madison has been performing for 8 years old and got her start dancing at DWRD. Her favorite roles have been THE WIZARD OF OZ (Dorothy Gale), SEUSSICAL, Jr. (Wickersham Brother). Madison is going into 8th grade at Golden Ring Middle School. “Break a leg everyone, love you, all!”
Addison Malkowski (Ensemble)
Addison Malkowski is a 13-year-old student at General John Stricker Middle School. This is her 18th show and her 4th with Artistic Synergy of Baltimore. She is currently working on creating her own musical. A long-time performer, despite her young age, Addison has acted since she was 8 years old and began dance at 2 years old.
Kendel Sowa (Ensemble)
Kendel is excited to be in her 2nd ASoB production. She is 13-years-old and attends GRMS. She has been seen in LITTLE MERMAID (CCP) and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, as well as MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET (ASoB). She lives in Rosedale with her Mom, Dad, Ryder and 2 cats. Her Mom is her biggest fan. "This is going be so much fun!!"
Eleanor VanBlargan (Ensemble)
Eleanor is super excited to be a part of EMMA. She is a part of PHACFA theatre magnet and has been in their productions of THE WEDDING SINGER, HOUND OF BASKERVILLE, and was the assistant director of AWESOME 80s PROM. She would like to thank her mom and dad for everything they have done to help her through the process.
Maryjane VanBlargan (Ensemble)
Maryjane VanBlargan couldn't be happier to work with ASOB once again. She has participated in SNOW WHITE, THE LITTLE MERMAID, and MIRACLE ON 34th STREET. She has also assistant directed THE WIZARD OF OZ at her middle school. Maryjane is having a such a fun time in the theater world and is eager to continue working with ASOB.
Liberty Ward (Ensemble)
Liberty Ward has been performing since 2014 and started singing in her Elementary School talent shows and annually in her Middle School dance showcases. EMMA! A POP MUSICAL is her first live play!! Her goal is to one day be on the big screen and star in TV shows and movies.
